my Note 2 replacement would probably be Note 3....and hopefully it comes with aluminium unibody and design.

In just case just go get a Note 2. Battery life pwn all other current phones.

4. S-pen

Unibody doesn't mean it will be really any better. It's something you hold, which is liable to drops, as compared to those other unibody devices which remain on your desk.

actually how often will u use the S-pen? i was totally forget abt the pen b4 i saw the note 8.0 ad with pen

i'm also skip s3 and go for note 2...even its hard when waiting last time but unregrettable..!!

You should train yourself to get rid of those little pieces of paper or paper notebooks. You will find the s-pen extremely useful in that respect.

I will also suggest get a separate program to do your notes so you don't get dependent on TW.

hi guys, thanks for your concerns. i did read those, but i think the real problem is my ability in understanding them. even after reading those materials i still have no idea what goes where and where to start with. in the end i only get more confused. but again it is most probably just me being dumb lol. also i am doubtful with the steps in the noob guide in xda, like whether or not if they're accurate and whatnot.

i assume u mean the launching on march 14 thing? if so, it is because i thought the launch alone will cause the price to drop, regardless of whether or not the phone is already here. maybe that assumption itself is a mistake or maybe there's some other mistakes i made too lol.

The battery as in all phones will after a period of use improve in its performance.
