But seriously I had much more excitement in SC's demo than C&C3 demo prolly Im bias but out of the 2 demos Id rather play SC and EA is so stingy in C&C3 demo they do not even enable people to save games.

Ok I forgot to post this earlier. You can enable NOD faction in the skirmish menu.

In the skirmish menu you need to highlight NOD in the drop down menu and press
'N', now you should be able to play the full NOD faction . Try it a few times if does not work. You can also select GDI for the AI using the same method and press 'G' while highlighting GDI.

You can also select the the different AIs in the skirmish menu also like turtler, rusher, etc just by press the corresponding letter while highlighting it. Do not enable Scrin because the units are not available in the demo.

Ok now you have more content to mess around with. smile.gif

Btw, the nuke is just as devastating as the ion cannon and the Avatar Warmech is freaking cool after fully upgraded with all the extra weapons ripped from other units. sweat.gif

i'm quite impressed with the demo

Best thing of all is this game doesnt eat up a lot of computer resource.
The game ran smoothly in near Max settings. The visuals effect are breathtaking.

and EA did a great job by hiring some familiar actors for the FMVs.

Some of stuff that i dont like is the sound effects and some of the unit's design.
The sound of the machine gun used by the infantry sounds weak.

Yeah I tried Using Nod by capturing the construction yard and continue from there good old construction yard lol.

After all these years I still wonder how come u can use engeneers to capture buildings why dun they have negotiators or some sort like engineers cant capture buildings by just entering it right?

Damn hope that really happens in real life and I can take over my neighbour's house by just getting an engineering degree what ever field.

In the C&C universe, Kuantan is one of the main Nod Headquarters.

I just played CnC3 Demo.. unfortunately.. i just played Sup Com right before that too and finished 1 Sup Com campaign.. so.. while playing CnC3 Demo, my mind was constantly comparing to Sup Com

The Good for CnC3
1. Graphics is superior to Sup Com for sure,
2. Unit Creativity, deployable battle defenses are very very cool. Not only it can repair your units but it's also a defence. By far a super useful unit.
3. It's traditional CNC styled. Not much has been changed from the general gaming concept. If you can play starcraft, you can play this game. (Appart from the system requirements)

The bad for CnC3
1. Too small!! because Sup Com is massive in general, after that playing CnC3 you feel like it's sooo small scale. really tones down the game play experience
2. I never really liked the way generals implemented the airbase, (limiting that you have to have a new airbase per 4 planes) CnC3 has that also for the GDI.. kinda sad. considering the map is already so small..
3. While Sup Com has T1 T2 T3 and Ex units, CnC3 seems very diff.. thoguh the number of units is probably just sligthly less. but it feels like theres not enough units to go by.
4. There's only 2 buildings that does upgrades also, armory does 3, tech building does 4 i think... and once you're done with that.. you're done. I was kinda dissapointed on how fast the upgrades can be obtained.
5. Gameplay experience on skirmish maps are all short i think. Maybe i'm also being use to Sup Com's long game play experience atm.

That being said. CnC in general is a very cool game. Easy for everyone to pickup. But also.. nothing much new i think.. just super graphics.. that's about it. Also i don't like the idea of elimating the transport unit as a unit that you can build but rather now every unit can get their transport by paying 500 credits. Very.. unothordox.. heh.

If someone were to create a mod out for CnC or for Sup com. I would wish that these 2 game's good points be combined together. it'll definately make another superior RTS.

CnC's graphics and unit creativity. (deployable units basically.. or transformable units)
Sup Com's massive warlikeness and Tech grade complexity.

GC? you mean which race? i played UEF campaign, going through the Cybrant campaign atm.

one thing i was very impressed with CnC is the transformable battlebase. I thoguht that was super cool. unfortunately i was expecting the manmoth tank to do some transformation too.. but i guess that unit can't do much on that part sad.gif

if Sup Com's fatboy can be transformed.. now that'll be cool. say it has to "deploy" to be able to be used as factory mode.. other times it's a mega moving fort.

indeed... if they combine the graphical coolness of CnC3 and the game area size of roughly SC... that would make it an awesome game...

anyways, about the play area... IMHO, SC's play area is a bit too big and the battles can be a very lengthy, drawn out affair. especially when you're looking for a fast 1/2 hr skirmish just to pass time... something that's 2-3 times the current map size for most RTS or 1/2 that of SC would be very good...

personally, i enjoyed CoH... gameplay and map size wise...

Yeah CoH would be a balance of the both. I'm more of a fan for futuristic RTS then WW2 though.. especially SC's shield .. boy first time i saw it i thought that's reallly impressive.

I thought the transformation was available for all the CnC Universe except generals?
no what i mean is your graphic card if the settings are just normal and not max then it would do SC injustice.

CoH is kinda boring for me since there are only limited amount of units comparing CoH to DOW Id rather play DOW much faster paste.
