Sup Com's Coloso copy cat Sup Com had the Idea of a laser Robot for a long long time b4 EA came up with the juggernaut Idea and C&C3 nuke sux. Damn I feel this game is just like Act of War there isnt much difference in graphics also.

erm fujkenasai no offence i know u like sup com but there is no need to repeat and let ppl know that u are sup com number 1 fan everytime we posted something regrading the demo. =)

Btw i'm pretty suprised that my laptop were able to support the game using only 512 ram and 128 X300 card. But the loading time were much slower compared to my desktop sweat.gif

I don't trust EA now........I'll wait a few month before buying to see EA's support for this game.

lol... hardcore supcom fan detected....

but seriously, if you are OLD enough to have played TA like me, you wouldn't be raving wonders abt supcom. i can seriously tell you NOTHING has changed, except for the graphics, the introduction of experimental units/buildings and the map size... so in my books, that's a tweak-con job tongue.gif

personally, i would rather replay TA... there's quite a few mods out and also new units to play around with. google and you shall be enlightened smile.gif and play CnC3 because of the Scrins. hey it's a new alien race/faction with lasers and giant bugs. how is that not cool, lol...

i'm quite impressed with the demo

Best thing of all is this game doesnt eat up a lot of computer resource.
The game ran smoothly in near Max settings. The visuals effect are breathtaking.

and EA did a great job by hiring some familiar actors for the FMVs.

Some of stuff that i dont like is the sound effects and some of the unit's design.
The sound of the machine gun used by the infantry sounds weak.

hmm...played the demo with all settings to max. not laggy. and it shouldn't since it is using an old engine. graphics look dated as stated in some demo hands on from gaming sites. and the terrain was not destructible as in the old tiberium sun.

playing this game has no feel at all, it is like playing an old game...maybe it is a good thing to some; maybe i've been spoilt by recent RTS like CoH and supcom. anything C&C3 can do, every other games do it better. the only difference would be cinematics for single player missions. but that doesnt change much to the gameplay.

maybe i'll skip this game. or i will try the demo once more to give it another chance. laugh.gif

well, supcom also has a new race too, while TA only has 2. so there's nothing special. and from some previews, the alien race in C&C3 plays almost the same as the GDI and NOD. i would not say much as i havent try the new race. nothing has changed too for C&C3 for what i've seen in the demo. i feel a lil bit boring playing it. hmm. unsure.gif

They hate EA for what they did to the C&C franchise(& other franshises) all these years, basically they never gave it the respect it deserved. That and the lackluster support for their games. sweat.gif

Somehow I feel C&C 3 should be able to restore some confidence back in EA's favor. It could have been alot worse & that would've been a sad end to one of the biggest RTS franchises.

hmm good point but the three sides on supcom is basically the same type of sci fi future mecha techno thingamajigs... they should've diversified at least one side.. maybe the Aeons should be a more organo-tech based IMHO...

about the Scrins playing almost the same as GDI and NOD, i can't say yet because my demo is still downloading, hur hur hur... but hey at least the Scrins is supposed to be alien and is technologically more advance than GDI n NOD... well, that's as good as a new side to me smile.gif

"First Alien (Scrin) Screenshots and Gameplay Videos released!"
Thanks to Gamespot we now have the first screenshots and gameplay videos on the alien faction. The main points in the article written by Gamespot can be summarized as follows:

    - Aliens' structures are interstellar portals that transport units onto Earth,
    - Alien units and structures build faster,
    - Aliens don't need Silos,
    - Aliens get more money per harvester load,
    - Aliens can re-seed Tiberium patches,
    - Aliens aren't damaged by moving through Tiberium,
    - Units can be given 4 'stances' - Attack-move, attack everything, defence and attack nothing,
    - 'Directional Fire' - More armour at front of vehicles than the back and sides,
    - Units can reverse,
    - Commentators in spectator mode,
    - Separate spectator client available to anyone.

I guess the diff btw SC and TA is that the screen and maps are much more larger than before, you can launch like 30 nukes and there has not been an RTS with Naval in it for a long long time. Thats why its more intresting.

But seriously I had much more excitement in SC's demo than C&C3 demo prolly Im bias but out of the 2 demos Id rather play SC and EA is so stingy in C&C3 demo they do not even enable people to save games.

OOT in reply to fujkenasai... nukes are such a common end game superweapon, lol... personally, i like that experimental artillery building in SC... it EATS and DRINKS power but the rate of fire, range and cover area is freakin amazing...

neways, with all said... i'm a pro CnC fella, lol... regardless of spywares or the lack of option to save in a demo... i'll play it first, before dishing out the winning point...
