lol...i doubt the recommended game req. since this is an RTS which doesn't need high FPS, and using an old generals engine (dunno wat was it called). anyways, things might be possible tho. EA is famous for crappin out games (better than UBI) with resource hungry modified old engines. or wait till they at last optimized the final game. (with patches...hahahahaha)...

hmm...played the demo with all settings to max. not laggy. and it shouldn't since it is using an old engine. graphics look dated as stated in some demo hands on from gaming sites. and the terrain was not destructible as in the old tiberium sun.
playing this game has no feel at all, it is like playing an old game...maybe it is a good thing to some; maybe i've been spoilt by recent RTS like CoH and supcom. anything C&C3 can do, every other games do it better. the only difference would be cinematics for single player missions. but that doesnt change much to the gameplay. maybe i'll skip this game. or i will try the demo once more to give it another chance. QUOTE(seth.frostheart @ Feb 28 2007, 11:59 AM) lol... hardcore supcom fan detected.... well, supcom also has a new race too, while TA only has 2. so there's nothing special. and from some previews, the alien race in C&C3 plays almost the same as the GDI and NOD. i would not say much as i havent try the new race. nothing has changed too for C&C3 for what i've seen in the demo. i feel a lil bit boring playing it. hmm. but seriously, if you are OLD enough to have played TA like me, you wouldn't be raving wonders abt supcom. i can seriously tell you NOTHING has changed, except for the graphics, the introduction of experimental units/buildings and the map size... so in my books, that's a tweak-con job personally, i would rather replay TA... there's quite a few mods out and also new units to play around with. google and you shall be enlightened This post has been edited by SpikeTwo: Feb 28 2007, 02:58 PM |

i dunno why there's no damage to the floor/ground once i shoot it with rockets, lasers...unlike previous titles. and trees wont burn even if i burn them. hmmm...is this in the demo only? hope the full version will have better visuals. cos the weapons look weak in this game. the only effect that i liked is the flame...the flame thrower. which looks 100x better than CoH croc tank's flame. that's the only bonus for c&c3 tho.

QUOTE(Agent717(tm) @ Mar 5 2007, 08:08 PM) common. don't argue in a fanboy style (not only u). CoH has new and better game engine than c&c3. so there's no way c&c dated engine could do better. but i don't know why CoH flames are so lame. hahaha...cos the CoH engine could pwn c&c engine anytime, say graphics, physics, shadows, animations, lots of particles/dust, blood...you name it. those things, you dont see in C&C3, not the details, no. nay. it is OK to be with dated engine, but it seems something is lacking compared to previous C&C titles. lack of details. buildings wont burn even if damaged. they just collapse.
