If it still using MXM 3.0, why not? :3
But still you need to do Bios tweaks~

I think my only concern is the heat as well as the power consumption. At present running 6970 and heat can hit 90c but is brought down with cooling pad running Tomb Raider on Ultra settings (Minus DoF, Antialiasing which are on high) @ 30fps min for smooth play. Just tested it as I have only recently acquired T.R and unsure how other games will perform with this old card. In US I see lotsa ppl already running 7970 on this old gen machine setting up hopes it can endure another year or 2 rclxms.gif

p:s Anything that can save $$ is a good thing. Can't chase Tech too much lol

Guys.
I saw this this one video on youtube reviewing the AW14.
It says the system is capable of supporting up to 4 HDDs...?!
Is it even physically possible?!!
Or i heard wrongly?
sweat.gif

4HDD only if you remove the ODD. sacrifice one thing for another. your choice.

big difference in file transfer speed and all those networking stuffs.

but my recommendation is dont get killer cards. killer wireless cards are reported giving lots of BSOD issues to users.

Just called up Dell Sales, they informed me that new model of AW will no longer have the name plate provided. Not sure whether they will provide later on?

you wont feel the difference in normal browsing. but when online gaming, you can notice there are improvements.

but most recommended brands are intel and realtek those, which is more reliable. killer just sucks so much and giving lots of troubles.
