It's you own money, you should make the decision your ownself instead of asking any opinion from others. In fact you will have varies of "buy and don't buy" answers since every people have differ of own perceptions over the S4. Since you have personally tried the Phone, you should know the comparison between the S4 and S3 in terms of speed, outlook and features.

Anyone tried Asus padfone 2 before? Someone wants to exchange my S3 or Note 2 for their Padfone 2. But I read in Padfone's forum, lots of over heating issue.

Few reasons for me to turn me down from getting S4 now : -

1) Too early to buy as we don't know what will be defect for first batch.
2) Too Expensive for me
3) Too Very High Spec as I wont be utilize fully the device (S4)

Conclusion : - S3 is good for me for Daily Driver usage.

Bought once from him, had an unpleasant experience. To be fair, quite an old seller in LYN already, so maybe mine was an isolated case.

If you need to ask this, then I'll just say, buy S4. If it really felt like S3, you wouldn't even ask 'to get or not to get S4 ?' Your heart wants S4 but your mind says, it's like S3!

HAha... EXACTLY.. i need a faster phone than S3 as it still lags quite alot. And i run everything stock except rooting and freezing some apps for the sake of battery life. But that time when i tried the S4 it still felt laggy. Was expecting a more fluid experience, but it was just a little more fluid. I guess with custom roms it would solve my prob eh ?

perhaps you'll need to wait for S5 or Note 3

S4???? S3????? or S3 LTE?????

Below is my own observation...

1. S3 or S4 ???? I have S3 therefore I wouldn't go to S4 with only extra as below:-
- Bigger screen
- Faster processor
- Extra 1GB RAM

2. S3 LTE or S4??? If I have LTE version I wouldn't even consider S4 at all because only with below different
- Bigger screen
- Faster processor
- S3 LTE with LTE where current Malaysia version without LTE

3. If I don't have either one I may take S4 but S3 or S3 LTE have more convincing factors.

a. S3 - Off cause the price + Local warranty

b. S3 LTE - Off cause also the price + LTE + bigger RAM, 2GB

c. S4 - Can show off using up-to-date phone but I am not working on an industry for this needs



My observation is on above 3 models cause I never use other brand before..

guys today i woke up and my s3 was sudden death! i cant turn it on anymore any solution with it?

1. Can you still charge?
2. Is the 3 combo button working?
3. Have you tried with other battery or charger?

When S3 launched, the price to buy a phone started from RM 5xx (of course with contract)

S4 starts from RM13xx. Looks like S4 is more expensive...

Err..bro..the S4 is a different beast bro.
The screen is the best from all Samsung phones/tablet at the moment. Temperatures is way cooler than S3 while in used.
It also perform faster and smoother than S3 or S3 LTE.
But..i'm still gonna get one S3 LTE this afternoon coz the price is dirt cheap now. I think that the last/bottom price any shop can give..lolz

If not mistaken, since you are not able to turn on your phone even with the 3 combo button, charge your phone or use other battery (must confirm usable and charge) by right you are safe even rooted cause your phone is totally KO!!!

Bro.. to me S3 is very clear and even S4 with better processor but due to many intelligent FW feature at the end S4 will be dragged like S3 speed after activating all these fantastic FW features..

I may consider S4 if S3 upgrade to 4.2.2 with all the FW features that may slow down my S3 drastically..
