Correction. It is not "8" cores (although physically there are), but 2 sets of 4 cores. You are still using 4 cores at any one time. One set is low power, good enough performance for regular use and one set is high power, high performance for gaming or other heavy duty use. The hardware performs the switching which is invisible to the user.

This has been posted from February already when Samsung announced the Octa core marketecture.

Why the ang-mohs lust after Octa is due to the higher performance of the high power cores as compared to the S600 cores which they are getting.

i got it for RM55 (C-zone), 16gb class10 ... most of the shop sell RM50 without warranty sticker...gosh

I bought a used set the ewarranty was registered on 4/Jan.
C-zone should be ok!  Competitive prices and should be original!  Don't worry

when i typed such code, i can see made around October, not december which i highly doubt its not the latest batch although they told me grey colour is latest batch

Wow, the "insane chip" thingy still haunts you eh? Note 2 is nice but I heard that the FPS is not as smooth as S3 when playing certain games on the phone especially Candy Crush.

Mine's a special case so the price was just RM1180 at 3 weeks ago. The best price I heard so far is around RM1350 for SME and 1199 for AP, maybe you can check around the Garage Section since the price may be varies from time to time.
