Thanks to the members here who posted on how to transfer data from nokia to s3.
But since i dont hve a sim with huge memory, i cant copy all the contacts into the sim. Also, after marking the contacts, i am unable to send from nokia to s3, it says s3 doesnt support . I could be doing something wrong here.. thanks |

QUOTE(Ghosthunter @ Apr 19 2013, 04:31 AM) Thanks to the members here who posted on how to transfer data from nokia to s3. What do you mean S3 doesn't support..? But since i dont hve a sim with huge memory, i cant copy all the contacts into the sim. Also, after marking the contacts, i am unable to send from nokia to s3, it says s3 doesnt support . I could be doing something wrong here.. thanks Pair your Bluetooth on both phones first. Then proceed from your Nokia phone Contacts > option > mark all > option > send as business card to your S3 phone. Btw..you're using Nokia what model..? |

QUOTE(Joelles @ Apr 18 2013, 10:31 PM) Yeah, I think you better since some people are having problem booting up their rooted S3 and got warranty voided after sending to SC. I can't remember where I read sometime ago that Rooted can be trace in Android, am I wrong or what? Wish to root mine but scared, maybe I will do it after the warranty expired... yeah me too.just finish download Official Malaysia JB this morning. still abit blur how to remove the custom binary warning correctly ( undetected ) after restore to stock completely with ODIN. will use it on stock until my warranty finished or upgrading |

QUOTE(Ghosthunter @ Apr 19 2013, 04:31 AM) Thanks to the members here who posted on how to transfer data from nokia to s3. Last time I used Nokia 5800, I remember got an option to export contacts into CSV format. Once you have that, you can import the CSV file into Google Contacts using your PC, edit and clean up the contacts, then sync with your Android phone. But since i dont hve a sim with huge memory, i cant copy all the contacts into the sim. Also, after marking the contacts, i am unable to send from nokia to s3, it says s3 doesnt support . I could be doing something wrong here.. thanks SIM card transfer has the disadvantage of having limited length for your contact names, and each contact can only have a field for phone number and no other fields (email, etc). https://www.google.com/contacts/ This post has been edited by Dannyl: Apr 19 2013, 09:55 AM |

QUOTE(kopiPeng @ Apr 19 2013, 10:22 AM) Haha.. ok.. but I dont like to press physical button much.. sked later loose jor... FOTA updates normally small. Using Kies will get bigger while manually flash via Odin will be the biggest Btw.. I just updated the latest firmware thru OTA... the file size is 35.89mb only... not 1gb+ as someone mentioned earlier.. |
