Then where do you plan to place it? hahaha
*
Initial plan is to setup the tracks to build a city. On the West is the Western town (Lone Ranger setting) and on the East is the modern city (City and modulars sets). Then Passenger Train tracks will connect to the Train Constitution tracks and will travel to both ends. Of course additional tracks are needed hahahaha. Then on the North side is where the Space shuttle/Airport/Harbour is set up to portray the transportation available. Finally on the South side is the country style living setting (creator house sets). laugh.gif

Then again, it's only a plan and still a while more before I can execute it fully. But I might just build the Train Constitution this weekend cause the end result really looks awesome!! drool.gif

Good plan! It's going to be a huge layout and soon it will not be in the middle of your living room but rather your living room will be in the middle of it! icon_idea.gif

Impressive wing mechanism, but using Technic studless beams, pins and axles tongue.gif I think that's better than normal bricks, as Technic methods are stronger but still compact.

Lol I realized it's really gonna be a huge layout so might dedicate a room just for Lego display hahahaha. Before that gonna need to plan and draft out everything hence it will still take a while more before the plan can be executed hahahaha. Hmmm I don't mind sitting in the middle of the displays holding a remote control controlling the trains around hahahaha (If you guys watch Two and a half men)

Hahahaha yea it's a great plan but.....it's still only a plan. If only I can find a proper space and draft out everything. And not to forget the money to actually realize this plan lol.

Trains traveling only in city are not good for business. Need to travel outskirt to bring more people in to the city tongue.gif Oh and to connect both east and west, I have the Tower Bridge tongue.gif

Hahahaha I might want to put in those superheroes set in but maybe I'll just display them in a cabinet. Not forgetting maybe hang X-Wing, TIE and Death Star from the ceiling to create a galaxy. Stick those glow in the dark moon and stars sticker to the wall.

Thankfully I'm not really interested in Ninjago sets. So City sets will do me just good lol

the train remote, how does it work?
I don't suppose we have to point the remote at the train all the time for it to be moving? It's just like a TV remote for on/off and probably speed control right? Please correct me if I'm wrong. I haven't open my set yet tongue.gif

When it's all done please invite me over! I wanna sit in the middle with you and see the trains going round! drool.gif thumbup.gif

It will be so cool if the trains can fetch drinks and snacks from the kitchen and deliver it to the living room.... icon_idea.gif brows.gif

Yup! Just point the remote at the train, press either direction and off it goes! Turn the speed dial and it will maintain at whatever speed you selected, no need to keep holding and pointing the remote. icon_rolleyes.gif

Train remote same like Technic, using the latest Power Function modules.

Need slight line of sight, and not too far distance. Without blocking, I think about 3m.
With the IR module embeded in the train, the line of sight is reduced to about 1.5m, and also the angle / point.
If train put on floor, better.
If train put on table-top, slight reduce distance.

Lol sure. Maybe when I really start on working this plan, I'll create blog posts just to track the changes/progress hahaha.

Anyway some not so new poison that I noticed no one talks about brows.gif Castle fans might somehow rejoice lol
