QUOTE(shay2k @ Apr 14 2007, 03:30 AM) my friend have a problem connecting his xbox360 with a lcd monitor viewsonic 22 inch widescreen....seems like the screen have lots of flickers! please help me out! Are you on the 3rd party or the Original Cable? (I'm assuming you're connected via VGA) A friend of mine faced the same problem before. The screen flickers, there's a lot of ghosting everywhere, and it just looks terrible. After hooking the monitor with the original cable, everything looks good, the way it should be.

Forget about the 3rd party cables. None of them work as advertised on higher resolutions.

QUOTE(drgadgets @ Apr 19 2007, 03:52 AM) That may be too for the "Dragon" brand. But I've heard good things about the 3rd party VGA cables made by Joytech and XCM(XCM 360 5 output cable). Does anyone have any experience using these ? Will need to get a VGA cable for my new LCD. After spending so much money on your monitor and LCD, I bet you just wanna get the best quality for your setups instead of worrying whether what you're seeing 'could' be better if you're using the original cables right? The cost differences for the cables (relative to Xbox + VGA) is too small. Just stick with the official cable would be my recommendation.

How come the Dell looks so dark compared to the LG? Bad viewing angle?
Someone got himself a new monitor huh?

shay2k,
Specs wise, 32lbr1 looks better on paper. Not sure about real life performance? Can you even find that model here? Never seen it around before. Only the 32lc2r is available most of the time.

It's a known problem with certain brands of 3rd party cables. Just get the official one and you should be OK.
