If I am not mistaken the LAD in S&P only cover the interest payment. Kinda rigged S&P. Yes saw the bridge road conditions is quite bad too. Workmanship and materials I have no idea, what I know is that if developer pays the contractor peanuts they will get peanuts. We pay premium to developer we expect some thing good. But if developer only cares on the margin and cut cost everywhere then buyer is doomed.
Hornbill, I say so because with a few neighbour development and reputable developer isn't that much safer to bet on reputable one? At least CHS have very good reputation. I have previous experience with them, they are good especially during LAD. I complained on a door, they pay the contractor to change the whole door instead of repairing. I am very satisfied. But this new developer the future is very grey.
Most of the time quality and workmanship of contractor depends on how much dev willing to pay. One amerin is considered the highest selling price among the development here, but we really have to hope that it will be the most premium among all. Like I said, if developer pay peanut for the sake of their profit margin we will get peanut.
