The multitasking screen looks awfully alike to me.

Multitasking screen, and also the UI overall - the flatter icons instead of 3D/button look is also an idea from Windows Phone's flat tiles.

You mean XBox/PS right? I still prefer XBox's all in one entertainment system.
Internet isnt a concern. If you have the $$ for a console and genuine games, you should have the $$ for good internet connection as well. Internet is more of a necessity compared to consoles.

True...but for my case I generally play single player game so the 24 hrs sign in thing is troublesome to me. And my place's internet line not so good, so it would be a hassle like what if my modem spoil/internet down etc and I can't sign in to play my supposingly offline game.

This is Bolehland lah. With Screamyx-world-class service, I can go for days with no internet and despite calling them, they claim it's my problem and to keep doing that stupid modem reset crap. Then after like the 3rd day straight calling them, only then they want to send technician to check out the cable outside the house. Guess what, it's their fault. Their stupid cable got issue.

PS4 ftw. But that iOS7 is kinda sexy.
