Maxis optic fibre home internet 10MB only RM 149/month if not mistaken.

Maxis home internet 10MB got capped on quota or not? In the past I'm freaking stay out of Maxis internet service because never stop hearing their overcharging issue.
If they do not cap on the quota then I will go ask if they provide the service in east malaysia here.

Where is the star article? Any link? I want to read biggrin.gif

Photo Result:
https://picasaweb.google.com/10802032029841...feat=directlink

Inside got introduction and few links to shootout result of 4 phone (Lumia 920, HTC One, IPhone 5, Galaxy S4).

I still can't figure out the method of image taken and review by them. rclxub.gif

The only thing they say good on Lumia 920 is the Purview HD, which the screen can display the colour of the photo most close to the original photo colour. sweat.gif

lol! And wtf! My friends got HTC one and iPhone 5.. I've tested out the lowlight photo quality with both of it.. The shitest photo quality with bunch of noise is the Htc one!.. But what?!! They say "as expected, the low light photo quality is good and can capture more details than Lumia 920." wtf! Lol!!!! What a joke!!! The one who did all these test should just go bang the wall and die..

i see... Sorry that I'm not educated on Maxis Home Internet offer before cos the only perception that I have on Maxis are their strict cap and freaking expensive charge for exceeding data cap for the mobile data. Haha..
At least it is good to know that they don't cap quota on home Internet.
Just checked their website and it seems my place still don't have Home Fibre... Only have Home Wireless Internet though... but that one come with Quota and didn't mention of the connection speed.

Im still not using Maxis yet, but i assume optic fibre cable internet (of course, u can use a router) should have no quota. Availability is still limited though.

Maybe they just shoot the photo and watch the photo over in the phone only.
WP8 default photo viewer quality is being reduced to maintain the fluidity and so on.
They didn't watch the photo in the PC so that's why they come up with this conclusion perhaps?
As for the details, well Lumia 920 sure kinda weak in that point. Hopefully Amber will fix the issue.

Lumia 920 detail is weak in landscape due to the aperture. Increasing detail = introducing more noise into the photos. But their daylight photo they say 920's photo is too sharp instead. doh.gif The opposite of what everyone thought or experienced.

LOL.. too sharp.. First time ever I heard people are complaining the photo being too sharp.
Are they using touch to snap instead of the shutter button when taking night photo? Quite blurry as I'm watching it.

Nope, they used shutter button instead of touch, i think. The shutter button of a new unit can be a bit hard to press and results in camera shake. Even with OIS, if the shutter speed is too low it will still end up with blurs. If they used touch on other phones, and shutter button on 920, then it is not fair already. They did mention this sentence "The Lumia 920 is the only one out of the 4 phones with a shutter button", which led me to suspect they used the button.

If I'm not mistaken, OIS is only activated when half press the shutter right?

Is that so? hmm.gif Because there were occasions where i shot by touching and photos turn out rather sharp and clear (close up and macro shots) even though i have very unstable hands (and had issues with Nokia N8 - and resorted to a tripod+timer on that phone in some occasions).

I think they do had do comparison on the monitor, as they say IPhone5 and Lumia 920 display the image quality quite close to what they see on their LCD color calibrated monitor (important to journalist, as they need to know the colour quality when print out on paper), except S4 where it is too bright.

I see other internet review most of them say lumia 920's daylight photo jpeg processed image is not sharp enough, first time i hear the image is too sharp on the star review. rclxub.gif

I'm not quite sure but I think I've read it somewhere though.
I usually tend to have issue with touch to shoot as the photo will come out blurry instead of shutter especially in low light shooting. However, touch to shoot has the advantage of choosing your focus point while shutter shoot will focus only middle it seems

I could be wrong so perhaps some sifu please clarify on this.
Wanna improve my shooting skill using L920.

When i do macro i need to focus on an object, so i needed to use touch (using touch also reduces camera shake for me - if i press on a hard button my hand will shake a bit) I think night shots i should try the button and see if there is any difference.
