hi im 20 years old weight about 70kg height 175cm
starting weight before go to gym 66kg
bf>mybe around 17%

i have been go to the gym for about 1month for now(3 times a week)
and i want to ask the otai2 in here about my workout journal
cause recently there is a guy in the gym(very muscular 1)said to me that i should not keep going
with the workout journal because the combination of muscle group im using is not suitable hmm.gif
and i should change it to a different combination of muscle group excercise for example bisceps and traps for 1 session
he said that by doing that i can rest some part of muscle so i can workout more efficiently.

here my workout journal:

monday:
bisecp and trisecp excercise

wednesday:
chest and shoulder excercise

friday:
leg and traps excercise

so is it ok or should i change it?

LOL, I'm doing that but then again, my exercises are very limited

That is nothing man, I've done chest and legs before, worse and I really wonder how some do chest and back on the same day consistently

Usually people do push pull muscle like chest and bicep together. Doing chest going to trash your shoulders and probably triceps. So you cant train chest and shoulder optimally once you going heavy.
Here my training routine I tried before.
Monday
Chest n biceps

Wed
Back

Thurs
Shoulder (at home)

Friday
Legs n triceps

I prefer to have at least 2 days rest between chest n shoulder. But my back still got some strain from back workout when doing legs on friday so I also move back and legs day 2 days apart. So this is my current routine.

Monday
shoulder(at home)

Tuesday
Back

Thursday
Chest n biceps

Friday
Legs n triceps.

Having triceps day after chest have some minimal impact on me. I have tried to squeeze back and shoulder days together but find it is not the best since it going to take up to 1 and half hour.

as for me:

1st day - skipping - treadmill - back - triceps - biceps - squat - deadlift - abs - push ups x 2sets all

2nd day - skipping - treadmil back - biceps - triceps - shoulder - abs -push ups x 2sets

through the week keep repeating these 2 methods.. and so far happy with the result
