QUOTE(mascot_lim @ Apr 8 2013, 03:12 PM) As of i now, there is no concrete confirmation on Cyber MRT..However Map Guru HCS speculate that line to Putra/Cyber will be line 3, but line 3 only ends at Putrajaya ERL station.. He speculated that feeder bus will be used to ferry passengers from station to the rest of destination.. Maybe no MRT station at door step of some commercial area in Cyber.. ![]() |

although i dont like it...but i still dont think it will have MRT in Cyber within the first 3 lines , by the way, expect at least 6-8 years for that to be realized.

Why want to build MRT instead of LRT to increase the cost of construction? Not necessary to do that..

Yeah, i think that is not much difference for the construction cost compare in between LRT and MRT.....unless they goes underground, which i don't think is possible and feasible to have underground MRT/LRT project in cyberjaya.... |

Construction cost for floor carpark or basement carpark which one more costly?Construction cost of MRT such as drilling, retaining wall..more costly than LRT This post has been edited by 37 Exposures: Apr 10 2013, 06:04 PM |

MRT higher Capacity compare to LRT.you can see almost everything from here: http://www.spad.gov.my/sites/default/files...110913-v1.0.pdf page 45 and page 46 mrt to cyberjaya/putrajaya is after 2020....still long long way to go. fyi, some people always try to compare the cost of MRT with bullet train..totally different thing...1 of the different is MRT need many many stations. bullet train need a few stations. example from penang to singapore in-between maybe only 4 to 5 stops/stations. Personally think that next MRT project will be in Penang Island or JB instead of CBJ..these two places need MRT more than CBJyou can see almost everything from here: http://www.spad.gov.my/sites/default/files...110913-v1.0.pdf page 45 and page 46 mrt to cyberjaya/putrajaya is after 2020....still long long way to go. fyi, some people always try to compare the cost of MRT with bullet train..totally different thing...1 of the different is MRT need many many stations. bullet train need a few stations. example from penang to singapore in-between maybe only 4 to 5 stops/stations. |

MRT is needed... Malaysia is now regretting that it built the Kelana Jaya Line on a LRT instead of MRT.
In the future traffic growth, KJ Line cannot be expanded anymore. Sad. Short sighted. |

Wau, after 2020? in this case, since I was working in Pee Jay, then i think is a bit hard for me to travel from Cyberjaya to Pee Jay, as too tiring and quite jam LDP.... you can see almost everything from here: http://www.spad.gov.my/sites/default/files...110913-v1.0.pdf page 45 and page 46 mrt to cyberjaya/putrajaya is after 2020....still long long way to go. fyi, some people always try to compare the cost of MRT with bullet train..totally different thing...1 of the different is MRT need many many stations. bullet train need a few stations. example from penang to singapore in-between maybe only 4 to 5 stops/stations. |

What to do bro? this is how our government working now...They are short-sighted and incapable, and yet, they will never admit for their mistake.....In the future traffic growth, KJ Line cannot be expanded anymore. Sad. Short sighted. Hope this time all Malaysians can use their rights to cast a better formation of government for the sake of Malaysian brilliant future.... |
