Ok guys here is my history of having had to deal with eczema on my shoulders, back and thighs. I hope this isn't a too long read, and I hope that I can get some help from knowledgeable people here smile.gif

2011: I think it all started about March of 2011 when my skin started to feel itchy every time after taking a bath.I was using Dettol antibacterial soap to wash my body at that time. And then a few months later, suddenly I notice my skin at my shoulders and back has been getting some red spots. Thinking it was just normal rashes, went to get some Calamine lotion and applied. Found out that it didn't get better, went to see skin doctor(Dr.Ranjit in SS15), and he told me it was eczema. Gave me some creams, and told me to apply every morning and night. The red spots went off like a miracle, but then I stopped putting the cream because I found out through Google that creams for eczama are steroid creams, which is not good. So eventually the eczema all came back.

2012: Didn't do anything about my eczema in this year, other than just using Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Bar( it's a bar soap) to wash my body. Thinking that it would get better, but it didn't. Every time after bathing, my skin would be dry and it would be damn itchy, wtf some more it's Cetaphil, supposedly good for eczema skin. Bought Cetaphil moisturizer as well, not the kind u see in pharmacies now, but the moisturizer I bought is the one with white tube and pink labels. Maybe it's a discontinued product because I have never seen it in pharmacies already.Applied moisturizer for a month. Moisturizer didn't do sh*t either, so got lazy and stopped using. But continued using the Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Bar till now smile.gif

2013: Still the same, but these past one week a few pimples with pus has been coming up around my back and shoulders and my eczema looks like it has gotten more red now. My eczema might not be too serious if u were to view my skin I guess, and my lifestyle is not affected such as having to eat this medicine and that medicine or having to avoid water and all that, no I don't have to do all that. But the dryness, itchiness and redness especially after bathing is damn annoying, and if I ever take off my shirt when I'm out in public or at the beach, I guess ppl would be running away from me when they see my shoulders and back having all the spots and redness it looks like as though I got skin disease! sad.gif

So I need some help please? How do we cure eczema? Is there no cure for it?

You are like promoting him..nah I'm looking for other solutions rather than using steroid cream. Would going to private hospital be better? Maybe can get better medicine?

steroid cream is effective to relieve acute eczema attack. BUT it is not for LONG TERM use. It can lead to the thinning of the skin like what the guy mentioned.

Best way to manage eczema is to find out what cause it. Some irritant/allegen might have triggered the eczema so its best for you to find out what it is and avoid it.

Home remedies such as aloevera, Vitamin E (D-Alpha tocopherols) can enhance the skin's ability to protect itself against potential triggers.

In conventional medicine, you can apply steroids creams, take antihistamines or steroid pills. On the other hand you can use nutritional therapy to heal this problem. Below is a pic of my client, very depressed due to this condition, hide himself at home, went to see all the skin specialist he can find yet no solution but it got worse!!
PM me if you need more info.

A natural way to cure eczema is EPO(Evening Primrose Oil) capsule. Just 2 times each day. You'll see the difference in a month or 2.

i think that is psoriasis. If one person doesn't use steroid then doctor will probably prescribe the protopics which is an immuno suppresson which is no less harmful than steroid IMO.

Could u elaborate more on protopics? What is this and why would the doctor prescribe that if it's not good? So if we do not want steroid creams, we would get protopics instead?

Out of topic: Sorry but there's just too much BS and advertising in this subforum from a lot of ppl..

Two immunosuppressives on the market now.

Tacrolimus (Protopic)

Pimecrolimus (Elidel)

Doesn't work as well as the steroids. Expensive.

Tacrolimus was originally developed to suppress organ transplant rejection.

Pimecrolimus is probably safer than tacrolimus.

For a start :

Take 6 500 mg evening primrose oil capsules a day. The cheapest is probably
the Naturalle brand by Upha.

Use a good moisturiser cream whenever you can. I use cocoa butter.
Cheapest is Fruit of the Earth.

Colloidal oatmeal bath lotions are supposed to be good, but expensive.
You can buy at pharmacies.

Otherwise, use any good mild soap or bath liquid like Cetaphil. Pine tar also
helps some people.

I use "Taharah" soap, made from mud at hot springs, which you can buy at some
of these Malay stalls in shopping complexes. $ 5 each.

Sometimes I also use "Najwa" black seed soaps, which you can buy at some
department stores.

Doctors usually give Oilatum or Eubos soaps, but expensive.

For eczema on your feet and lower legs, soak in Cosway's Zara sea salts, or any
good Dead Sea salts you can buy. The Himalaya rock salts are also supposed to help.

Lactacyd bath lotions are also alright.

At one time I ordered quite a lot of Emu oils from the States, but haven't in some
time. A bit expensive. Use it as a moisturizer.

For steroid creams, use the following which are safer :

Mometasone (Elomet)
Fluticasone
Clobetasone (Eumovate, U-Closone)

Mometasone is expensive, but some generics around. Use around
your face and groin.

No generics for fluticasone on the market here yet.

Clobetasone is a old steroid, low-medium potency (in between hydrocortisone
and betamethasone valerate), but it has a lower systemic absorption.
Eumovate by Glaxo is expensive, so get U-Closone.

For places around your groin or face, you can also use Efficort (hydrocortisone
aceponate), which is in a colloidal form.

Will get tiny pimple and put on weight. Not apply to everyone though. Consider pimples and weight is something you can easily control I think it's good enough. Furthermore EPO is a good anti-aging supplement.

And let's say I don't see a doctor or eat/use anything extra, just go about my daily life like normal, can my eczema go away one day or would it stay with me for life? yawn.gif

No, I am not a doctor, but another eczema sufferer.

Common sense would tell you that no one can tell if the supplement or treatment
will work for you - only you can find out.

Everyone is an individual, and every eczema sufferer is too. No treatment works
the same for two different eczema people.

If you have not seen a doctor, how do you know it is eczema ? See one first to
confirm - it may be another skin condtion like psoriasis.

Eczema usually doesn't go away, especially in adults, but typically would be there
with your life. It is a lifelong autoimmune disease, meaning that your immune system
is a bit abnormal and reacts against your skin. It tends to get better or almost disappear
at some parts of your life, only to recur and get worse at other times.

About two out of three children tend to "grow" out of their eczema by their teens,
just like in asthma.

Fish oil, or cod liver oil, may also help eczema in some cases. Eczema is basically
an inflammatory skin condition, and fish oil has antiinflammatory properties.

This probiotic, Lactobacillus Salivarius LS01, developed in Italy, seems to help too.
Looks very expensive. I don't think you can find it here. Otherwise, taking any
probiotic brand which contains the normal L. salivarius may help.

Mine is definitely eczema because I have been to a skin doctor once, and he told me it was eczema and gave me steroids. But I stopped using after two weeks because I know steroid can lead to thinning of the skin. So now I'm not putting anything on my skin or eating anything special.

I'm currently just around 20 years old of age, so I wonder if at my age, eczema can still go away one day.

Yes, steroid creams can lead to thinning of the skin, but if you use a milder
form, don't use it too often and only for short periods at at time, it should be alright.

You could try on alternate days, just a thin layer, and for up to two weeks, then
stop for a week, and cycle again.

The milder ones are the low to low-mid potency creams :

Hydrocortisone acetate, the mildest
Hyfrocortisone aceponate (Efficort)
Clobetasone butyrate (Eumovate)
Mometasone (Elomet)
Fluticasone (Cutivate)

A little skin thinning is nothing to be alarmed about really. The main risk is systemic
absorption, when too much of the steroid is absorbed into your blood stream. The
second generation steroids - mometasone and fluticasone, as well as the older one,
clobestasone - minimize this risk.

At one time, I had to have steroid injections - Kenacort (triamcinolone 40 mg/ml)
every few months, given by Dr Ting of Jalan Imbi or my company GP. This is a depot
form injection - meaning the steroid is released slowly over a week, and stays in your
body for up to a month. Many times more powerful than any potent steroid cream.

Too many injections too often, and you will get muscle wasting, osteoporosis, diabetes,
cataracts, glaucoma, high blood pressure, gastric ulcers, liver and kidney problems, etc.

A study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of hydrocortisone aceponate 0.127% lipophilic
cream in steroid responsive dermatoses in Indian patients.

Eumovate (clobetasone butyrate 0.05%) cream: a review of clinical efficacy and safety.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12775314

You could try adopting a vegetarian diet like the above poster successfully did.

This is an interesting product. Their creams are made from calendula, gotu kola,
propolis. The kids' cream is colloidal oatmeal.

You could try asking the above product owner to send you some samples.

This is an interesting product. Their creams are made from calendula, gotu kola,

Looking at the effects of steroid cream, I think it's better to continue having eczema rather than getting all those side-effects u metnioned like diabetes and high blood pressure sweat.gif How serious is ur eczema till u needed to get injections which can lead to those side effects?

I've already explained that steroid creams are quite safe, but you
still can't understand. Don't listen to everyone who tells you that steroids
are going to kill you.

If you feel you can get by without the creams, then good for you.

The creams I told you are nothing - even babies can use mometasone.

Even if you go for Kenacort jabs, say once every half year, it won't really mess
up your system.

It's only when you go for too frequent Kenacort jabs, then the risk of
those systemic diseases start coming in. And that is only if the doctor gives
you 40 mg/ml triamcinolone acetonide. The lower strength vial, 10 mg/ml, is
too weak to do anything for your eczema for a prolonged period.

My eczema at certain periods many years ago was quite bad, with lesions all
over my hand and legs, uncontrolled by the creams.

They included times when I was hospitalized for other reasons, and the eczema
flared up due to the stress, particularly after surgery.

An alternative to the jabs, typically favored by skin specialists such as Dr Chang
in PJ, and also given by GPs, is oral prednisolone, 40 mg daily and tapered off over
a week. He will ask you first if you have gastrititis or gastric ulcer.

How much do you expect from conventional allopathic medicine
in the treatment of a complex disease which they don't understand
properly to this day, and of which an immune suppressive drug - steroids -
remain the mainstay of treatment ?

Cure ? Common sense would tell you otherwise.

The word "cure" should not be in the vocabularly of educated individuals
like you and me - it was popularly used only during our primary school days.

Go the the National Library - that is where I taught myself what I know about
drugs and diseases.

Pick up any mainstrem medical textbook. Flip to those pages relating to chronic,
autoimmune, little understood diseases such as multiple sclerosis, systemic lupus
erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, as well as the degenerative diseases of aging,
such as heart failure, osteopororis/osteoarthritis and diabetes.

Page after page, disease after disease, they talk about the MANAGEMENT of the
disease. In other words, they are talking only about controlling the SYMPTOMS of
the disease. Apart from that, they have little idea about what else to do.

The only diseases where they can achieve a "cure" are infections, curable by
antibiotics, and physical or pathological conditions correctable by surgery.

That is the limitation of mainstream medicine.

In eczema, which is thought to be the cellular immune system gone haywire
(T-cell migration to the epidermis secreting chemicals causing inflammation),
and using steroids to suppress these cells' overreaction - what do you
really expect ? A "cure" ?

Common sense would tell you that once the steroids are withdrawn, the
T-cells would start causing trouble again.

A cure would lie in an alternative medicine system - homeopathy, naturopathy
or holistic medicine, TCM, Ayurvedic medicine. Not mainstream medicine.

If you wish to try homeopathy, there are at least a couple of good homeopathic
doctors I could point you to.

Try the Sabah Snake Grass tea or if you have the plant at your backyard, so much better. No harm trying and like Tham said, it might work for some but not everyone but you just have to take the first step. Check out the write up on the plant at Roundtable Discussions > Health & Fitness. Hope this helps, Cheers.

Is there no cure for it?

eczema cant be cured, because its more into allergic reaction, u have to apply the lotion everyday..the best cream is corticosteroid, very effective, after 2 days your skin will be back to normal...but i dnt know some of a doctor not recommend it to be used...

I also have eczema, due to asthma when i was a kid...sound weird right??..but i was told by 2 specialist doc from diffrent hospital ...i thought it was skin disease initially...

Now im using another cream...i hv to apply it everyday in order to maintain my skin...

Steroid creams not recommended to be used too much because it can thin the skin.

You get eczema because of asthma? How does that happen? And what cream are u using now?

I never used to have skin problems , it all started with a small watery bubble

Mate, i had eczema for 1 year. It started with a small watery bubble my index finger. I scratched it and played with it, thinking it was nothing. In a period of 3 months it managed to spread to my whole hand inclusive of my palm. 3 months later, it managed to spread to my legs. Both my feet were filled with eczema, and both of hands. I went to three different skin specialist and all they did was give me bullshit + more steroids. Soon enough, my palm had two different skin tones, the lighter skin tone ( the one the steroids had destroy ) and the normal one. No matter what i did, the eczema came up.

I stopped taking
-Seafood
-Beef
-Eggs

The eczema would go off for few days and come back

Methods i used
- Steroids
- Epson salt
-Potassium Manganate

Non of the above worked for me,
Only one day when i gave up in steroids and epson salt, i honestly thought i would live with eczema forever, i stumbled on a website.
This website was talking about apple cider. Feeling skeptical and not believing at first i didnt try it , but after googling and watching some youtube videos, i realized vinegar apple cider worked wonders for many people.

What cured my eczema?
Apple cider, definitely! I stopped my steroids and epson salt.

I used 3 main things
-Apple Cider
-Corium (Only obtained in the US)
-A good antiseptic powder, (Red colour one, can be bought at caring pharmacy for rm7)
-Dry fit socks from nike ( rm18.90)

Dont worry about the corium, as it is just a aloe vera, that heals the skin, your body can heal the skin itself dont worry.

So if you're going to give apple cider a try,
use it 3times a day.
Morning, afternoon and night
Afternoon is not compulsory
But Morning and night, mandatory.
It smells @ f***, but i guarantee results in 2weeks.
Use a cotton and dilute the apple cider.
Before you leave for work/school, use the power GENEROUSLY, it will prevent your feet from sweating and being itchy, this will help you get through the day.
Also use a drifit socks, ive changed all my socks from normal - dri fit socks to prevent your feet from sweating! thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

Now my hands are eczema free, i can eat crab, prawns and beef. But if ever the eczema decide to attack again, i know i can rely on my apple cider. I've stopped apple cider now, and just use aloe vera, to repair the skin. I wish any of you fighting eczema the best, and i know what it feels like to have eczema, me myself have had eczema and i even almost went into depression due to eczema. anything feel free to pm smile.gif

I have heard of that, but using Corium which have to buy from US,antiseptic powder, a bit difficult to get those stuff. And how do I apply it? Mine is not like urs on the feet, I don't need the socks, mine's on my shoulders, back, and chest.

I have a write up of the tea on Trade Zone > Garage Sales here. You may check them out. It is not advisable for pregnant women to take this herbal tea as with most herbal stuff in the market. I will PM you.

Hi there!

Have you tried using Hemp Seed Oil? Sorry to be too direct, but I'm a reseller of Nutiva Organic Products, and maybe you'd want to give Hemp Seed Oil a try on reducing your eczema.

Here's an article that might help :

In conventional medicine, you can apply steroids creams, take antihistamines or steroid pills. On the other hand you can use nutritional therapy to heal this problem. Below is a pic of my client, very depressed due to this condition, hide himself at home, went to see all the skin specialist he can find yet no solution but it got worse!!
PM me if you need more info.

Hi guys, just to share with you all.

Been suffering from eczema & psoriasis for the past 28 years of my life ever since I was a baby. It was hereditary but I got it bad.

I could not sweat (rashes will pop up) or go into an A/C room for too long (too dry). All my joints will be scarred with oozing wounds and also on my face (above the eyes, moustache area & ear).

Have gone to many specialists western & Chinese (tried snake skin with herbs etc.)and Indian as well. Even went on a diet of non meat (only fish & vege) for a year but none of it helps. Tried taking EPO, detox, donating blood, drinking lots of juices but still it persisted.

It got so bad I had to take steroid injections to cool things down. Even had to take antihistamines every night but the effect wore out eventually.

About two years ago, things started to improve dramatically and here is what I did and am still doing now till today.

- Himalaya Purim
Didn't believe in this 'natural' product BS as I've tried everything on the market & nothing worked. Was recommended by my pharmacist GF now wife. After 3 months, I could see that it helped a lot

- Eubos Shower Lotion & Cream (Light Green one for Sensitive Skin)
Tried everything on the market: Cetaphil, Cocoa Butter, ABC oil stuff, Vaseline but all those caused a burning sensation on my wounds & made it worse except for this fella

- Kiehls
Used the Ultra Facial range from Cleanser, Toner & Moisturiser with Burt Bee's lip balm

-
For those pesky wounds

- Exercise & sweating loads & being in the sun
This is quite contradictory as I know the rashes will worsen with sweat. But the more I sweat coupled with the above steps, it got better. I believe the sweat it's another way to detox.

I won't claim this is the defacto cure for eczema but it certainly helped me to regain my confidence and most importantly my quality of life.

I scratched less at nights (I even wore gloves as I scratched unconsciously to wake up to a bloody mattress in the morning). I've only taken antihistamine once in this 2 years.

The itch is not severe as previously as I rarely scratch it till its bloody.

Hope this post helps someone out.

Eczema is a condition you can only manage not cure. And when it comes to managing eczema I always prefer for the natural ways, looking at the bigger picture, working inside out to totally treat this skin condition is necessary. I'm glad I resorted to the natural ways of treating eczema from eczematreatmentnow.com, which I personally really like as the program does not only promote natural treatment process but it gives me the knowledge I need to know to understand this skin condition and how to promote a healthier skin in general.

Hi All,

I used TS on all body parts on and off throughout 3 years (nothing happen), used TS on eyelid as well (1 week). After 1 year eyelid infection came and doc prescribe me Protopic (used for 6 months) then go back TS for 2 weeks and started the TSW. Whenever i stop using protopic or TS for 2 weeks or more on my eyelid, i could see lots of Milia forming on my eyelid and nothing can be done to remove them (always ended up injuring my eyelids). I used TS on my face for 2 months because doc said i have major cold sore on my face and lips and both side of my face is a little red. I used it for 1 week then the red face become worst and itch. She told me to continue use them. I used it for 2 months and search through the web and found this thing called TOPICAL STEROID WITHDRAWAL. I stop using steroid on my face immediately and all TSW symptoms came. My face are red with patches at first then would flakes, followed by swollen face and red throughout the face. Google Topical Steroid Withdrawal yourself and you will know what i had been through.

Im here to share what cured my eczema. A friend of mine introduce me to a Traditional Chinese Medicine at Jalan Ipoh, Kompleks Mutiara (with the name KHY). I went to see her before i started TSW. She gave me some black color concoction to drink for one month and i do see eczema coming out all over my body where i have had no eczema problam at that part before like my back, butt etc. Things clear out as times goes without applying any steroid creams. After one month of drinking the concoction, i started TSW and she realizes it so she gave me different concoction this time. Ling zhi + bitter melon (small one).
For more info about my TSW visit here:
http://forum.itsan.org/index.php?topic=1602.0

Okay so Im here to say that if a person has eczema, it means that he / she has some problems internally. There are three organs on our body that relates to each other to detoxify all the harmful things that we eat, touch etc.

Liver - Blood - Intestine

I do realize that i had serious skin allergy after my few years of sleeping late (which cause my Liver to weaken or malfunction) which then makes my blood can't detox itself. Once the blood can't detox, your skin will have lots of problems.

As for now, Im on my end stages of TSW and Im still consuming ling zhi concoction. Going to revisit her next month and im pretty sure she will give me another type of concoction once my face is healed. Those concoction were prescribe for a purpose.

Ling Zhi - Detox Liver
Bitter Melon - Detox Blood

My body is completely healed for now. Left a little flakes on my neck only. It's getting better from flaky old man neck to normal skin but few pimples on neck. During the time Im taking the concoction, there would be few small pimples like bump on my hands body legs etc and i could just pop them out and see colorless fluid. She said is the toxic that needs to come out. Let it out!

Now my body don't have those pimple like small bumps anymore. Left with those injured scars and waiting time to heal smile.gif

Hope everyone having a healthy body and smooth skin in future! thumbup.gif

I read from some US website saying that it helps in eczema and some other skin irritation.
It helps in my itchiness biggrin.gif

Try chinese traditional herbs, it does help eczema in long term. To soothe the itchiness and red rashes, you may use pine tar soap for showering (not with hot water), and apply pure shea butter after shower. It does help to reduce the itchiness and rahses.

Thanks for the feedback, yeah.. hot shower is a big no no for me... it makes my skin very dry very quick... I normally take room temperature showers or mild luke warm showers...

I will put Pine Tar Soap on my list to try... sadly Pure Shea Butter is a tad bit expensive comparing to my shower cream that I am currently using...

The thing is, I am tired of this... I am no longer looking for a workaround and I want to find a permanent fix. once I get it, I will share.

no problem. I myself suffered from the same skin problem. The both pine tar soap and pure shea butter helps me to reduce my itchiness a lot. The pure shea butter i bought is around 80. Currently there are many year end sales, i believe you can get cheaper price.
Yeah, hope you get well soon

haha, even though that is something really general, but what he said is true. The more you scratch the more itchy you feel and the rashes could spread. That's why I used pine tar soap for bathing with cold water and applu pure shea butter after bathing to help me control the itchiness, so that i not scratch so frequently smile.gif

They mentioned fermented soy is okay like tempeh. Well, soy sauce is fermented but when I consume it would end up with nasty eczema.

It is recommended you go for a food allergy test with your doctor to find out whether is it food or environmental factors which is causing your eczema.

I got very sick when I cut out many essential food and in the end I found that I was not allergic to any of them.

My eczema was not improving. Only after the food allergy test that I found out that my skin condition was due to environmental factors.

Need to moisturise the skin after bath and constantly applying lotion throughout the day.

Eczema is usually due to external causes interacting with you immune system, hence a food allergy test and also a patch test is very important. Once you have listed out all those and preventing contact with them, it will most likely improve.
However many will still get bad eczema.

I have a totally natural health product that i can share with you guys, it helps in stabilizing the immune system. PM me if you are interested. I will give 1 month free sponsorship for you to test it whether it works or it doesnt

If food is causing your skin to be eczema.

No moisturiser would be enough. The inflammation is from within.

Sorting out your gut health is essential to managing eczema. Also cutting out all the allergens and things you may be intolerant to as you try and heal yourself.
Additionally, try Magnesium! 😊 Skin problems and allergies are sometimes a symptom of magnesium deficiency. Using Magnesium Oil and Magnesium Flakes can make a huge difference. You can find these at any Health Lane Pharmacy 😊

For gut health: probiotics and prebiotics are needed. Fermented foods can be rich in this and also enzymes. Cutting out processed foods and also taking things like apple cider ginger and virgin coconut oil should help tremendously. Start with little and slowly increase as you may experience detox symptoms in the beginning. Drink plenty of water! Cut out refined sugars... gut health and diet are so so so very important 🙏🏽

Hi @kinskj, by apple cider, do you mean apple cider vinegar?
Thanks

QUOTE(kinskj @ May 3 2013, 03:11 PM)

This is the first one that seems to be helping. It smells wonderful and has a very thick, creamy consistency that absorbs into your skin easily and doesn't leave you with that sticky feeling. I've already repurchased it. I'm so excited that I'm ordering more and hoping this is what I've been looking for.

my father have itchy skin for almost two years. the itchiness can move around the body. maybe the itchy started due to he consumed un-cooked egg.

consult skin specialist, blood test said allergies to mites, cockroaches.

try those lotions sell at pharmacy ecurine, roseken, cetaphil, and etc not use also but he still using now.

got ppl recommend bath use bitter guard water. feedback from other some bath for two days some for a month, the problem solve.
my father just started bath with bitter guard water. use while hot or else later bone pain.

two days ago, my mum met an aunty she also have itchy skin for very long time, and some1 recommend her to use loccitance lotion. her feedback said skin slowly getting better. shower oil and dry skin hand cream. but the price expensive then those brands sell at pharmacy.

ya my dad also scrub with salt. better for a while after that he feel more itchy and the skin got scar.

Just to share with you guys on how I cured my eczeme. I went to a specialist and he looked at my rashes and initially introduced some cream to be put on the spot. It sort of helped on those parts that are not long. So visited again and he suggested to do an injection to help it. It worked for me and he also suggested to use Eucerin body wash instead of other types.

i went to few doc all also say no cure..when i was younger i use to put so much rash cream till one doc said stop using it cause it all contains steroids and will thin ur skin over time..not sure what cream liao i was too young was from hospital...
i had asthma n my rash was bad...so that was the early few years i could remember..
over the years my only solution is to manage it well n try to stay away from certain things & products

DONT USE
- fragrance ...i cant use commercial soap..makes my skin itch...so the only one i survived was some goat soap dad bought from kampung but cant sem to find d...but mostly johnson ph5.5 the safest by far after all these years..
- moist - the weather is humid try to either stay dry n not sweaty it'll drive ur skin crazy itchy
- Dust & Pollen - yea this is a trigger toooo...

Hydrocortisone helped me beat my eczema that are used to be under my eyes, back and knees. It's really itchy and flaky. Sometime its feels like a burning wound. I wash my skin with salt and them put the cream on it for 2 weeks and then the eczema finally gone.

just for those looking for lotions/balm for their eczema..... i hv kids and all of them have eczema... few pead and specialist have suggested lotion/balm with ceramide... so far my youngest one using it and it help reduce the flaring....
few brand you can explore,
suu balm - got menthol effect but its moisturizer so its slightly watery
ceradan - got few concentration level. hydra is lowest found in watson etc and advance is highest and only found in hospital. this brand most effective. my elder one using hydra and youngest one using advance. both manage well.
aveeno dermexa - this so far so good... off on using it
QV - this is so so only. using QV intensive to complement ceradan

one thing those suu balm, aveeno n ceradan is pricey....
