dell vostro will be better. not all business laptops are within this price range.

they do have mSATA slot as default.

not really recommended for you to get 17" laptops as they are very expensive. however, you can take a look at these models:

Was thinking at y400 or 500. Hmm. If Without Hd ips which wan is recommend? Previous was recommend on Lenovo so now looking for other type. Hmm. Any laptop with lighter weight

no IPS display for 14" models but there is an acer with full HD IPS at 15.6". other IPS display screen on 12-13" laptops are very expensive as they are hybrids. however, your options :

Y500 is recommended if you want full HD. someone is selling single graphics card option with lenovo local warranty with the price of RM28xx at the garage sales section.

for lighter weight laptops, you might like the lenovo Z500 but the screen is not full HD though.

actually i a bit blur on the full HD and not full hd. just the normal screen right? if without full hd i think almost same spec right for the z500 and y500. which type u recommend for me?

i mean if don't take the full hd in consideration. plan to buy something that is last longer and tahan thank raymond

full HD native resolution is 1920x1080, while normal HD is 1280x720. laptops nowadays are fitted with 1366x768 HD screen.

if you really want gaming, then the Y500 is a better choice. if you want something lightweight, then it will be Z500.

Is this good for gaming?

not really in gaming purpose for the laptop as i having desktop as well. this is usually use for easy paper working and some light game.

in term pro and con. i see that z500 less problem then y500? like overheating? and for the warranty, lenova support oversea warranty like UK?

overheating will be greater in Z500 as it is thinner compared to Y500. lenovo supports international warranty, but still the T&C applies. read this for more info about IWS.

then probably will go for Y500. anything else that is similar with Y500 or anything budget range around 2600 which i can refer too?

Nothing come close to Y500 in terms of raw power for its price
If you only has RM2.6k, look at the 14" Y400 instead.

i browse through that z580 using quar core while y400 is using dual core? hmm why the price is different with it? i mean y400 more expensive then z580. recommend Y400
