Guys, how long does it normally takes to process loan applications? I have submitted the application last Monday and was told that the result will only comes next week after 2 or 3 times postponement.

Initially was told end of last week, later early this week, next end of this week, lastly mid next week. Really upset on the way things turn out. Have to sign the SPA next Thursday.

Any advices, guys?

Why have to sign next week? Can buy xtra time?
*
Cause it has been 10 days since I signed the Letter of Offer. There is a 14 working days clause from that day until signing of SPA. Interest chargeable after that.

Hi, I am still looking for housing loan. The project is Taman Ria Mas and the developer is Soon Sin Hin Development Sdn. Bhd.

So far I have applied to Maybank, AmBank, Public Bank, and Hong Leong bank. OCBC is not one of the panel. None of the banks get back to me yet except Public Bank and the rate is quite bad. Blr - 2.3 at 80% finance of margin.
My partner and I have good credit record. Never have outstanding balance in our CCRIS. It is the first house for me and second house for my partner. Both of us don't have personal loan or car loan.

I don't know why the banks are so slow at approving our loan applications. I'm not sure whether having too many credit cards is an issue here (I have 6 credit cards). Please help.

Yeah, that's what I thought so too.

Neither the banks nor the my middle man contacted because of that and it has been more than 2 weeks. Am quite disappointed with how things turn out.

yes. car loan 740 per month

Hi, approximately property price at Rm400k. Instalment about Rm1,650 per month if loan 90%, tenure 35 years and interest rate at 4.25% p.a.

Not sure your net income is how much. You just add all your commitments included the propose instalment divide by your net income times 100. The percentage shouldn't exceed 80%. Thanks.

darkgandrake,

Al-Rajhi & Standard Chartered bank do offer me ZEC package. but bear in mind that both have some downturn of it.

Al-Rajhi BFR is 6.9%, and yet, they offer me about -2.4% (average rate as per other bank)
SCB have ZEC, but will offer you less than average rate of -BLR, thus your monthly commitment will a bit higher from average. Apart from that, their valuation of property a bit lower than other bank, and i dont want to proceed to apply because of that.

Both of the statement above is from my recent experience. It might be differs from one person to other.
