Like what I posted this David guy is in love with HTC1. When you are in love, your senses changes accordingly sometimes in the wrong direction. The way he praises the phone is so obvious n I do not wish to use the "b" word.

Your phone imei is captured in HTC servers once you connect your phone to obtain the unlock code
Relocking it back is useless as HTC already knows you have unlock it before

Reading the few bad experiences of some users using the Note2 I just want to say such issues never at all faced by me in my previous n present unit
The phone has yet to hang on me even on custom Roms
The Note2 remains still my favorite Android till Note3 comes around

I am not poor nor can I say I am very rich. I am above upper average guy. Even though I am retired my monthly income from my investments will shame even many senior execs/managers working for others
I am just pointing out spurging money unnecessary is a waste n some dont think so as money source is not a problem. So is not a worry to them. You belong to such a category. Even having money i still think twice every time i want to spend and yet buying a rm2k phone is just pocket change to me.

To many users here even spending rm40-60 they still want a better price just to save money. Many users here commit themselves to 12 or 24 month installments to get their dream phone. Not everyone has parents like snail..fingers who is willing to give him one time rm2k cash to buy what he wants. I am just pointing to him the harsh realities outside beyond the comforts of his home.

Why not as long as you have the budget to engage in this hobby. The worse thing is do not get yourself into unnecessary debt indulging in it

Downloaded Phoenix Rom while on my way back from Malacca to Batu Pahat. Reach home - saw downloaded completed 1.4 GB !!! - took about 2 hours. Than realised it only completed 99% !! Try re downloading to complete and fail. Wasted 1.4GB my sign up data - now left only 500 MB to survive till 17 Apr

Why waste money on new phone. My son not like you. He never ask for stuffs. I bought this as a gift since he got first class honous from LSE ( London) last year . Phone still under warranty n replacement is FOC. As said I don't simply waste money. Even my son will reject my offer to buy him a new phone as he is working n draw a good monthly salary
Yes you are smarter. I have 5 gb data n since already paid for n dateline is just 2 days to refresh, why waste the unused allocation since cannot carry over. And download on H/H+ faster at least 3 times faster vs home miserable wifi . So smart chap don't jump to conclusions

I used my Maybank Visa on my PayPal, iTunes, Google Playstore - every time a transaction is done, I always gets a SMS immediately. So it is quite safe. For certain online store purchases, I will be redirected to Maybank site to obtain another password in order to complete the transaction. I have been buying stuffs practically every 2-3 months online from Amazon, EBay, some Taiwanese/China websites for past 6 years and I have yet to have any problem. All transactions has been secured to date. Unless the hacker can even hacked into Maybank and make them incapable for them to send SMS, probably than there is a risk

Out of topic : RIGHT> Student life was my best days of my life. The study stress is mini kacang putih vs working life - demanding unreasonable bosses, datelines and targets to be met, profit targets, cost control, quality control. Frequent air travelling though looks nice to others is stressful too - each time I get on the plane , I just cannot wait for it to land. Never feel secure while on flight and I used to fly 2 weeks/month for past 10 years throughout Asia/Europe/USA!

SPM standard these days is miserably low - marking standards has reduced. MY wife has ceased marking SPM papers 3 years ago mainly due to pressure to "must give " marks for even incomplete answer. During our days ( in the 70's) - wrong or out of point , you get zero - nowadays you are being forced to give partial marks as long as the answer show some slight knowledge or correct terminology being used. Worse, bilingual language answers ( English n BM in same sentence ) also deem acceptable !! 70 marks you can now can get an A vs 90 during the 70's. Passing rate for some subjects is only 20 vs minimum 50 in the 70's. It is so bad that I always tell my friends be happy only if their children score all A+ not even A, A-. My wife always tell her class as long as they score a C3, C4 in her exam, they are guarantee an A in the SPM

I got SMS notice last night 10pm from Maxis that I have used up my 5gb data n speeds will be throttle down
Surprised don't see any throttle down since this morning n amazingly download speeds still good. This is in Taman Soga Batu Pahat. Maybe Maxis still have an allowance n not a major issue as my data plan refresh today midnight

Moving from a 5.5 inch display to a 5 inch display is a BIG change. I thought I could adapt to it replacing the Note 2 with the Xperia Z ( 5 inch). I was terribly wrong

My 5 Sen advise. If it gets so hot as claim by you definitely could be motherboard problem. Note 2 hot until plastic can melt is a big joke. If you say this happening in butterfly, S3, xperia z still possible with intensive gaming. Note2 is the coolest in operating temperature among all the androids I have used.
Have service center check it before it explodes in your hands
