Hi,
I have just come across Orange backup and Online Nandroid Backup that can execute nandroid backup without going into recovery mode. Orange Backup seems better because it has schedule backup and cloud storage support.

As such, before using the above apps, I would like to know whether the backup by the apps are reliable or not (I mean is the backup really the same as backup made via recovery). I worry that the backups with these apps may give problem in case I need to restore from nandroid.

Thanks

A nandroid is basically a large zip. U can run an archive test with 7zip on yr pc. I could be mistaken about the zip though.

You saw these in post 12?

nicregi haven't seen you in a while. Thanks for the survey responses. Perhaps you have some good experiences to share regarding your Note 2?

Are you using Orange Backup. How you find this app? Is the backup really full like those done by CWM recovery?

I tried it once but haven't done a restore tongue.gif coz I haven't done any rom flashing in the last 3 months.

antt00 thanks for adding toiikii to the list. Maybe you can help akira here with his question. Or alexng2208

BTW noobi3 you can have the pleasure of submitting a survey entry for toiikii kernel as antt00 has so quickly added it to the list. I added him as a co-maintainer.

Hey guys there's something weird bout my phone lately, the gallery and video player both show files of song (short clip like game effect of 3 second) in them. This is quite annoying of having like 300++ files in your video player, anyway to solve this?

Ok, added a new category for Launchers in post 12.

Updating the form wasn't too difficult was it? Thanks to Uncle Google.
