Mine is the same. But I think the water just stays there at the edge coz the rubber seal in further inside. It will be gone after the water dries. No aquarium lamp problem here i think.

I got another issue with my car. Happen only after rain. Will update u guy after complain and check at SC.
*
akbarS Mechanical or minor issue?

QUOTE(Neo_Y @ May 9 2013, 11:06 AM)
Although the USB and Bluetooth audio streaming could be pain to use, I found the CD player is way better.
It does resume wherever you left on previous drive, response is blazing fast compared to USB and Bluetooth and of course sound qualities is better.
CD here refer to those genuine album CD, normally not more than 25 tracks in single disk.
*
Old school! Yeah, CD have best quality audio (lossless quality) vs MP3 which is compressed audio quality.

Perfect if you enjoy all the tracks in the album... Else it'd be a pain to swap CDs every few tracks.

What if we rip the tracks as WAV lossless?

Probably works best with USB playback.

i have a usb loaded with lossless files but it always playback the 1st track every time i restart the engine...

That's the complain from many owners. The system doesn't store the last played track. Annoying...

CX-5 owners also got complain about the suspension sound. Apparently it's a normal phenomena. CX-5 fb group got detailed technical explanation.

Thanks. Will sent to PJ SC today for first 1000 km service.

Have some issue on my I-Stop..sometime cannot activated (light always in "amber" when I switch on). But if I manage to switch off I-Stop after several minutes driving, it suddenly goes "on" by it self (green light)...don't know it's a problem or not..have to ask SC this afternoon.
*
Hmmm... Sounds odd on the i-Stop issue. It should stay off if you deactivated it for the journey. It will only come back on during your next drive when your startup as it reset itself. No permanently off solution for i-Stop.

Your car probably needs a full car initialization process.

Just going back from PJ SC...

On i-stop issue...after hv been explained by Mazda's technician ..it's not an issue actually...just missunderstood on how it operate in proper way... the key word is "seat belt"... doh.gif
*
You usually drive without seatbelt on???!!! Even though the car comes with SCBS (smart city brake support) please be safe! Seatbelt is crucial!

Passat giving out RM 8,000 rebate

Passat CKD price so near to M6 2.0 now

Which one will you choose? Conti or Japanese?  hmm.gif
*
Have you tested both cars? I say go with whichever you feel comfortable with in the car, and appeals to you from the outside. icon_idea.gif

I think your opinion is the most important one. thumbup.gif

Just went and do come survey upon HID conversion kit.
Philips one are selling at RM1500+, this is insane.
However, Philips are equipped with can-bus ballasts, reverse connection protection and short circuit protection.
"Can-bus" ballasts is totally new words for me, never heard of it. Do we really need it?  hmm.gif
*
It's a price you have to pay for branded goods. It gives you peace of mine and warranty.
But of course by doing a retrofit/conversion, you are already voiding the original warranty.
So, are you willing to forgo the 3 years warranty?

I've only heard of can bus LED bulbs.

I think the new brake lock system from IES system uses CAN BUS system too.

I've heard flashing problem where M3 1.6L changing to 2.0L's headlight.
If that can be solve by installing a third party OBD-II (On Board Diagnostics) system, or CAN-BUS (Controller Area Network) to bypass the on-board ECU I/O signal, then we could possibly change the 2.5L's headlight into 2.0L.  wub.gif
Or am I dreaming?  sweat.gif
*
i think it's definitely possible BUT it's gonna be a DIY project. You'll be spending a lot of time in the workshop since this is not a plug and play solution (since noone has done it for the new M6). A lot of testing to be done.

Neo_Y Are you gonna be the pioneer? To lead the 2.0 pack for the headlamp replacement? thumbup.gif notworthy.gif

Hi calvin May i know what is this ?
*
wsc80 Brake lock. Press brake to auto lock doors. Our Mazda6 doesn't come with auto lock for the doors.

I think once shut off engine, doors unlock. Not sure if any members havent installed it yet.

But i was quoted RM350 for installation.

Can contact the following.

Bro, is this mean the car will unlock when our i-stop activated cause the engine also shut off?
*
Actually I never though of that. doh.gif I also not sure on that. Have to check with the shop when I drop by. rclxub.gif

But because this uses the CAN BUS system maybe the module knows when it's i-stop and when is full engine shut off.

You're probably right. Check out the spec sheet for SG market.

Can I ask you Mazda 6 owners, how are the tyres performing?? As I understand the stock tyres are Bridgestone T001.

Thanks
*
tchtax

That's the tyres on the 2.5L model with 19" rims and 225/45/R19 tyres. IMHO the tyres offer really good grip but it's a noisy set of tyres. Also, for the tyres... moneyflies.gif

I've got to know that one piece of this tyre costs ~RM1.3k because it's not a common size in Malaysia.

I booked in Glenmarie. I think this place is quite good for getting the car.But I dont think there is any offer as this is a really new car. Freebies could be at the discretion of SA. I only got the addional air compressor and the car perfume. But SA is really good to chase the car for me after I initially decline the chance to get the car in early/mid March.

I think those are Mazda Malaysia standard free gift. Comes in a Mazda recyclable bag.

Heres a flaw from tribos
If u drive max 110km/hr at an open highway with no lorry infront of u, u will get this

Another flaw ive detected or another "design" feature apart from those "cheapo plastic not properly fit chrome" is below.

*
This is an isolated case. So far no other owners have complained about the side mirrors being loose or can wiggle.

Better go SC to get it rectified.

Hi anybody use this brand before "locktact" ? as im asking around currently seem like they the only 1 who got the available model for Mazda 6, locktech is not available yet at the moment.
*
Locktech is the original one that started from Thailand and still is Made in Thailand. Loctact if not mistaken is locally made.

wsc80 Where did you enquire about Loctact? Did the seller tell you ready stock?

Cause a month ago when I asked got one local brand GENEO still R&D and havent manufacture.

How much were you quoted for one?

I just ask yesterday , they replied me through email , ready stock RM280 without installation, i already send them 2nd mail to ask abt will it void our 3 years warranty , and also installation cost, once i get replied will update you all here. BTW the shop name Sg Wang accessories near kepong.
*
It dont think it will void the warranty as the pedal lock for this car doesn't involve any form of wiring, not even a Y harness. Because the car already has keyless start stop, already got built-in immobiliser. It's a plug and play product and it's just for additional safety.
