Sempron64 2500+ multplier 7x

MSI mobo quite ok le, if he is using sempron should be able to hit 300HTT easily on any board

iam using sempron 2800. the multiplier cant go higher than 8 or lower of it! else PC wont boot. well, davidletterboyz where do you get that bios file? what to do after the bios file does not compatible with my mobo but i have flashed of it!

dun touch d multiplier... coz it will onli make ur pc not stwable.. FYI, sempron2800+ is multiplier locked...

not compatible?? manage go into windows?IMHO, sometimes, flashing is vry deadly if u dunno wats u r doin...

His mobo is Gold Edition (can reset BIOS with button, not jumper). If u flash the wrong bios, it wont boot. U cannot RMA your mobo too.

Can reset with button? how to? everytime i use the jumper to reset of it! Well,
that means if the bios is wrongly flashed, then mobo is totally useless! cant salvage anymore?

Aiks....you have to use jumper to reset? that's not gold edition i think. But it doesn't really matter because both of them should have same bios. I got the bios from Gold Edition mobo and it works with mine.

If you flash wrongly, I think u can hot flash it again with a good BIOS....but i'm not too sure. Maybe someone can input here...

If u want assurance, maybe you can PM briangan. I got the BIOS from him. It's really hard to find from the net. (most people doesn't know MSI had edited all the bios in their website.)

v1.0 available from the web, i downloaded and flashed too! but cant go higher too. currently using v1.6

I already said all the BIOS in MSI website are edited. No matter what version you tried, you won't go higher than 240HTT.

why they want to edit it? then any fix for us to push HTT higher than 240?

Ehh....the bios u r using now has PCI lock? Someone gave me his BIOS which clockgen showed it pci locked but can't get through 240HTT. I tested with my clockgen, it shows no lock...which is weird. So, make sure u got the latest clockgen to check if it's really locked. HDD will go crazy after 240HTT.

The manual said the mobo is designed to allow OC and now they wont allow to OC anymore! WTF!! aint this is an antilogy MSI, your reputation is fu*kingly bad in my mind now! Such modifying will freakingly beneath your dignity!

Iam using clockgen v1.0.4.2 and shows PCI is locked but still cant go higher!

waa.... onli manage to oc 230... better sell this mobo lor then...

last try, try set all d memory setting manually... and use 2t... if still cannot.... i dunno wat to say...

I have tried 2t setting for the memory but failed to go higher. maybe i can conclude that MSI has modifying the bios and cause the mobo become useless in OC field! damn

well, well.... the bios provided by the briangan and davidletterboyz works for me... iam able to climb at 260HTT, now just for stability testing... will go higher once got the ninja from the bulk... million thanks for those who help me...
