i think in the whole world only me recable it to orange and white right? =P
singapore ppl did recable it, but with different type of cable. and have two forumer from SG come over with their recabled ksc75 with black cable.. and guess what, they found out PcWork Malaysia version recable sounds better =P with 1/3 the price they are paying compare to SG version.
i am not saying it as any secret, but everyone have their own choise of sound. and cable. mine version is using my own choise of cable. other people might found other sound by other type of cable. it's not a secret to recable it anyway. i can only say that current version is the version i am most happy with. it's the sound i want, and i had chosen it out from 11 cable i tested until now with ksc75. =) i will continue to test, if i found another cable sound better, i will come out with pcwork ksc75 MarkII. but quite hard ha.. i tested a lot of cable which some with insane price list, still current cable match ksc75 the best.
i had recabled more than 25 biji of ksc75.. =P so i actually also not sure who is that....

now who is this.. identify urself.. hahaha

the driver is same quality. but the VC itself degraded the sound after some time. =)

if i charge USD100 for recable it, i think i will kena blast like hell. currently i am charging at RM 60 already some people bising. but what i always say. hear first before u judge it by it's look / price
if some one were to pay me USD100 for recabling, i can do it with Van De Hul cable...

u want the ksc75? u sendiri slow slow on the pcm bulk. it's ready to take, unless u wanna travel to my place to take it. else better wait the pcm dac come i sekali gus go there and collect my dac.
want it fast? order my pcm fast. lol

about the hom, i am pretty sure now after i compare new ksc75 and recabled ksc75 side by side. it's has same volume, and even slightly louder after recable, only reason u feel it's not as loud is maybe the recabled one is not as harsh. so you can push the volume higher and still feel not enough. if stock ksc75 u will sure stop by the super ear piercing treble.

update some review compare how u like im716 VS Ksc75. there's some ppl PM me which one to choose, but to be honest, i love both, i can't compare.

@Ginryu i already passed the ksc75 to my friend as i am quite busy with my lab work. and he already posted it, the postlaju slip is on my hand now.

sorry about that, i already remake one new orange white for u. the new blue-white will sell to other people. it's all brand new ksc75 anyway.

i wonder where does the ppl from headfi found this.
Prota pro driver were made with transparent membrane, much thicker than ksc75.
which ksc75 using silver colour (sort of titanium element coated as refer to it's packaging) membrane. much much thiner than prota pro
that's why prota pro has much bass. while ksc75 has very accurate speed while nice bass.

i can only say. it's driver were interchangable as it using same hinge design, and same size. person who first say it uses same driver in headfi, must be blind or simply judge it by its outlook.
personally i prefer KSC75 more than protapro.
protapro is too slow, muddy in bass. while ksc75 after burn in can has as much quantity as protapro. not to mention after recable.
i had come across with a pair of prota pro recabled. and it still don't produce nice soundstage and the upper frequencies seems very subtle.
and recable seems can't rescue the prota pro from it's muddy and blur.

this is where poision comes in.
i used to tested philips HP1000 and i said. it's slightly better and slightly clearer from HP890 only mah..
then now turns out i am wrong. now i feel it's hell way different from philips other headphone. and it's good . seriously good

imho. ksc75 is the most comfortable headphone avialable in the world, as far as i tested. due to it's adjustable clip (u can actually bend it, it's very flexible) and it's very light weight.

as i recabled more than 150 pcs of ksc75. i had come accross with several people complaining the comfort issue. but after properlly adjusting the ear clips. they all no longer complain and they felt it's very comfortable. i can wear ksc75 on my head for 6 hours without any problems of hot, sweat, or even red mark on my ear.
i am very sure those who have comfort issue, were those who didn't adjust the earclip. by defaut, when the ksc75 is to placed in the box. it can't be wear comfortly. u can try to pull the earclip slightly out to make it more comfortable. it's sort of "custome made" earphone since u can bend the ear clip to suit what ever ear shape you have. and i will still stress, that so far, i tried a lot of headphone. the most comfortable headphone will be

KSC75 > BOSE Tripot > ATH-W5000 > Philips HP1000
which all of them can easily wear for at least 5 hours.

if u use often. roughly 1 year.
that's happening to my case and my housemate.

beside of it first torn. then sooner or later. it will peel off.
if don't want change also can. but around 2 years or more it will become habuk..
some ppl send in their ksc75 to recable already become habuk and missing big part of the sponge already.. hehehe

it's not because of recable. just i said that the unit they sent here already become habuk.
even i not yet touch it.


lagi cepat it berlubang if u suck it everyday.
