amped or unamped is totally up to your own preference. If you feel that you dont need and amp and satisfied with it as it is, then my suggestion is, just leave it be and enjoy yourself =)

i was stunted by modded koss yesterday using yuheng's amp.. so nice. i never heard my koss sound that nice. |

Sure can be portable still......amp some got desk bound some got portable ma. You should look into the Portable Preference V2.....goes damn well with a modified Koss75. I have listened to a setup like so before and i was blown away.
