Exora only have ABS and EBD installed. No ESC as far i know except Preve and SS. But its will be cool if Exora also have ESC.

Just to update, I received my EB CFE standard with beg kecemasan, coil mat with logo & suprisingly, it comes with reverse sensor as well. That is a good deal for me since before I made my order, I've been to few other proton edar branches & all confirm the EB standard didn't have the reverse sensor & the air cond vent for middle row seat. I got both in mine..

Done raytech tinted on my own (proton give this cap ayam brand tint voucher), done the HU, steering & speaker, changed the rm to 17" all in the 1st day...I hope there won't be an issue with proton SC during my 1st service.

How come everytime I come home and switch off the engine, I smell some burning smell outside of the car? It's not very strong but it certainly is there.
Is this normal?

Just got my car yesterday only icon_question.gif

aaa, it mean you got a virgin one laaa. thumbup.gif so, go slow-slow aaa. mines about a week only free from that burning smell. sweat.gif
just asking, what rim was your spare tyre? hmm.gif
*
My spare tyre rims is the typical spare-tyre type of design. Not the same design as the rims fitted onto the wheels smile.gif

Only a week free from that burning smell? How old is your EB now?

I don't really dare to rev the engine more than 3k rpm yet. For now just above 2k rpm is more than enough power for me brows.gif

Does anyone know why and where does the burning smell come from??? rclxub.gif

Burning metal... Its from your engine bay. The engine especially the exhaust manifold and the turbocharger is being cooked !

Congrats on your new ride ! Keep your eye on the speedo. You wont notice you already doing 150 km/h .  icon_idea.gif  icon_idea.gif

Thanks for your replies thumbup.gif So I guess the smell is very normal laugh.gif

mines this february hits two years, and thanks god still in a good condition, and we share the same colour.thumbup.gif
just wonder why they took out the sport rim for the spare tyre. hmm.gif
*
The model I got is RM2k cheaper than the previous Exora Bold that had the CFE badge.
Mine
1. No sport rims for spare tyre
2. No GPS unit
3. No door visor
4. No proton logo on floor mat
5. No security code on windscreen

But mine did come with free 1 year (free RM60 each month) subscription to YES 4G Huddle thumbup.gif

Mind if I ask, why the sudden spike in interest for installation of stiff rings?

What does it do? laugh.gif

hi there, my father already booked an EB CFE standard ( he say ), and after reviewing the spec, there is no reverse sensor and of course no reverse camera (How the hell i would reverse parking), so i decided (of course using my father money) to install aftermarket camera, how much it cost usually and it will void warranty or  not?
*
latest batch of EB Standard has reverse sensors

Plan to buy exora. Which spec should I get if I wanted automatic?
*
You have a choice of either Exora Bold CFE (standard/premium), or Exora Prime CFE. Which spec to get really depends on what you want.

I personally took the Premium because of the leather in the entire interior which gives it a slightly more premium feel, plus the reverse camera which has been super useful for me when parking this large MPV wink.gif icon_idea.gif

The Exora Prime's extra features (faux wood trim dash, headrest monitors, 2nd row captain seats) were features that I didn't think I would need, which was why I didn't go for it nod.gif

I plan to go for my 1000km service for my EB on Monday in Glenmarie.

I heard there are 2 service centres in Glenmarie?
May I know which has better service between the 2?

Thanks! biggrin.gif
