Exora Bold CFE is using CVT3 while the 2014 badge of prevé using CVT3+ same with Suprima S.
You find this info at the driver side door as soon as you open it.Its located near the seat(But outside of the car where you put your step on the thing you step)

Thanks. Do you know what are the difference between the two version ?

2014 badge of Proton Exora Bold (the one with TURBÓ emblem)comes with EVP Same with prevé and suprima.something called Electronic Vacuum Pump.Something to do with brakes.

Sifus, i need your input on this doh.gif

Since I got my EB about 3 months ago, I have yet to pump any air into the tyres on my own. I never thought of doing so since the tyres still look pretty well inflated up till now.

I got a little paranoid about it somehow so a few days ago, I decided to just go to the petrol station to check if my tyres needed more air.

I went ahead and key in the recommended tyre pressure (210kPa).
But the moment i cucuk the nozzle in, the pressure gauge showed 250kPa, which it then slowly deflated until it was 210kPa.
But at this point, the tyres looked like they were pretty deflated and lack of air. So I just pump it back up to the original pressure (250kPa).

Anyway so my question is, should the tyre pressure be 210kPa or 250kPa? What pressure do you guys usually pump?

Why did proton pump it to higher than the recommended pressure when the recommended pressure is supposed to only be 210kPa??  rclxub.gif

Thanks in advance for your replies biggrin.gif

The third time that my Exora went back to SC sad.gif The aircon problem can't be fixed. This time they said there is air in the aircon gas, so they sucked it all out and refilled again. SA keep saying, don't worry there's warranty but its so damned tedious to keep sending the car to the SC :/ Proton oh proton...why is your QC so terrible...

aircond not cool enough and SC cannot find the leak? check the rear air cond system as well. sometimes they just skipped it.

mine has leak from day 1, and refill once at sc, and after a visit they still can't find the leak. until i inform them about oil leak from rear blower then only they can find the leakage.

Yeah, EB. Not even a year old. It's not the problem of cold. It's like 5 minutes very cold, 5 minutes hot, 5 mins warm and on and on in a cycle. On short drives in KL, still can take it, but when I need to go outstation, like next month...oh dear oh dear...

Ya, i mean i did have a lot of choice of mpv/suv/wagon that can carry my harp la, test drove so many, but thought exora was great value for money. still think so, but hope no more niggle niggle issues. very embarrassing to drive a car less than a year old but aircon already faulty.

sorry bro, have to disagree with you on that based on experience. other brands have probs but they get fixed when you complain once. my family had owned bmw, toyota, honda, proton, mazda, mercedes, nissan before, but only proton has "unfixable" problems. the other cars all have drawbacks of course, but they can still be driven around. this prob...3 times and counting, it just conked on me again just now. rclxub.gif rclxub.gif rclxub.gif
