Well, to put it into perspective, these are what i did with my kits:
1. Cut the kit as away as possible in the own respective sprues. 2. Cut the nub using the clipper thingy. 3. Shave using knife until I am done. 4. Etc etc I do think I am missing some stuffs there, but one don't sand straight away the nub since that might take forever, right? |

most important thing to remember is
PATIENCE! it's not a race, take your time to slowly trim the nubs, carefully and make sure your knife is SHARP! once again, patience patience PATIENCE! if u shave through all at once, of course you'll cut over the piece and damage your model |

if you cannot catch those verbally, then here are your options:
- go attend modelling classes (not those cat-walk modelling ya) - go watch tutorials from youtube (if 1 not enough, there are tons of them) - buy lots and lots of kits, experiment on them until you get the feel - go ask the model kits shop owners to give opinions or show you how it's being done |

QUOTE(HxiiiK @ Jun 15 2013, 10:47 PM) good options.. i think he has been asking many, many times... and i think i have also repeated so many times that's why when theory fails, he has to do it physically, practice makes perfect right? and some more, as what bro HxiiK has mentioned, SABAR, SABAR and SABAR.... |

Is there any local store selling cement and craft knife via postage? If I order through AmiAmi, will they get detained? Would be more convenient since I've got stuff shipping from AmiAmi currently. Thanks.

Almost finish this ship, took me days just to panel line it and haven't done top coat yet.

You can try Gwing or Mgs2u for those but about ordering them from amiami might have some problem as liquid substance like cement might not even get through the custom because of safety regulation. |
