but if it's about ISO then you can't do much, the limitation of a body does matters a lot with that.
I think it's about that price? I wish m4/3 can come out with cheaper UWA lenses like how Canon did with their APSC (10-18mm, a fantastic lens costing below rm1k).
Yeah. My preferred shots are usually bright landscapes/architecture with an UWA. Followed by random unique things that I see while I'm traveling but most of the time E-pl3's sensor is too weak, so I have to jack up the ISO a lot. I think it's about that price? Get samyang uwa lens for cheap. But it's fixed focal length and manual focus but great quality nonetheless.
I've checked previously I think the cheap ones are all fisheye lens. Or you're suggesting to use it with a fisheye fix?QUOTE(BOTAK_WAI @ Nov 29 2014, 08:55 AM)
i agree with you that 14-42 is abit narrow. but u can try to shoot in 3:2 or 16:9 aspect ratio to see if you like the result.
well said.
no choice, e-pl3 with kit lens i need to jack up till iso-3200 while shooting in dark. (some more i only use low noise filter
)
no matter u choose to upgrade body or lens first, you will not get it wrong either. if you have a good deal, just take it.
I tried it, it's still not wide enough for my taste.well said.

Examples of panny 7-14mm.
