about the models, it depend what is your equipments u tended to protect...
cal-lab are no recommended to protect tel line only if u using modem or PC...
bcos the surge may come from power line as well... otherwise u have to take the risk that the surge come from power line although tel line protected by cal-lab... i have true cases that 1 of forumer insisted to protect tel line only, for sure he take his own risk, he get back to me said that his modem dead next few months later...

u can do replacement with me but no prompt respond bcos i dont have replacement unit on hand now...
i always recommended users deal with cal-lab centerpoint, u can get ur replacement unit on the spot / immediately with 1 trip only... save time and save ur petrol... smile.gif

u can use those with 1 * 3pin power socket and combine with usual multisocket / 3 way socket, but u must ensure the multisocket / 3 way socket located together with cal-lab unit and your computer units...

only for modem? how about the tel line?
cal-lab currently have customized version for MDSC0039 with 1A, 2A, 5A and 10A... if u tend use cal-lab only for ur model, recommended to get 1A or 2A version... it had better effect toward surge and avoid surge damage ur sensitive equipments like your modem...

MDSC0039 come with earth connector, it can combine with those model with earth wire such as SP9201DSL, SLAN1236, etc... so the surge toward to SP9201DSL or SLAN1236 will be route to MDSC0039 and it will ground into earth thru TNB cable... smile.gif

PC with wireless 3G broadband. using USB modem. No phone line.
So MDSC0039 ---> UPS ---> PC

or perhaps can u draw a diagram for your whole connection diagram?

For my room(upper floor) I got a PC, Router and Telephone Line. For the living room(ground floor) one PC, and another Telephone Line(same line, this is the main line, the one in my room is for upper floor). Been having heavy thunderstorms recently.
Advice please.

taikor~ received my items~~~very fast service

today pay > tomorrow packing and sent to pos > the day after tomorrow received this item from pos laju

===========
im ex belkin user so far boomed my tv and modem once, although got warranty but it doesn't really does its function like a surge protector should do
belkin allows user to replace back the same thing, but imagine it goes thru my PC..for sure no warranty can replace my personal stuff i kept inside in my hardisk.

belkin basically will ask u to send back the stuff to factory, claim back ur belkin surge master and ur electronic device, then will send to somewhere to check if u fake the equipment faulty or not, when all confrim they will send back a cheque with some money that almost enough for u to buy back what was broken, i dont know market price for my old tv..so no idea if its under market price or what. (all those took almost 2-3months)
