Hi.
I want to use the cal-lab for my dect phone (3 pin), laptop (3 pin) and wireless ADSL modem (3 pin) and protect my streamyx line since I leave it almost on 24 hours.
Please provide the part number for 3x3pin power + 1 ADSL broadband tel line. or  2x3pin power + 1 ADSL broadband tel line. How much it is, for COD.
*

is there any wired LAN cable connected between wireless modem and other computer / laptop?

if no wired lan cable involved, but only consisted of dect phone, laptop and wireless modem side by side with each other...
you can use SLMS4 + SP9201DAF setup if u looking for multi socket version... smile.gif

Hi. Just want to know which unit is best for these 2 rooms.

Living room:
- TV connected to antenna
- DVD Player
- Amplifier
- Modem+Router (Streamyx 1Mbps) (RJ45 connected to TV)
- Telephone
*All side by side. A filter for the telephone and the modem would be nice smile.gif

2nd room:
- PC (using WiFi)
- Printer
- Speaker
- Monitor
*All side by side. I guess the MDSC0039 connected to a multisocket is enough but can I use my existing Belkin Surge Protector as the multisocket?

Thanks in advance smile.gif
*

if dont have astro dishes and wired LAN cable to other computer involved...
you can use STV9511 + SP9201DAF for antenna, power, tel (modem and telephone) protection

if your PC no connected with any wired LAN cable but only WIFI...
you can simply u MDSC0039 for power protection and plug with multisocket to extend to number of socket...

as the distance concerned... i suggest to protect along the lan cable as well by following setup...
Laptop side: SD-4C
Modem side: MDSC0039, SP9201DAF, SLAN1236

No LAN cable is used, since it's a wireless modem router. I believe that the SD-4C purpose is to protect the LAN cable which is unnecessary at this case.

The only problem is since the power socket is far from the Modem, the green wire for the SP9201DAF would not reach the earthing point at the MDSC0039 for which would not make the system secure enough.

Do my explanation make sense?...

Thx
*

as the distance concerned we recommended to split the 2 set of equipments into 2 island...
the longer cable, the higher possibility to attract surge...

so u need MDSC0039 and SP9201DAF for the wireless modem side and another MDSC0039 for laptop side...
anyway, you cant plug MDSC0039 on top of MDSC0039 as it will effect the surge isolation performance...

hi bro,

my water pump just got friend by a lighting strike that went through the 13A socket. (yes even those hardy water pumps aren't spared)

do you have a model that can be used to prevent such damages for my new water pump? simple to install through 13A socket.

thanks bro!
*

SC0039 can do the power protection by it doesn't waterproof / weatherproof as it must install nearby the water pump...

Please quote me 2 units delivery to Subang Jaya? Can COD bo ?
*

can COD, do inform me by today as i will do stock collection by tomorrow, i can COD when sunday...

if ur waterpump have the normal standard 13A socket, then u can plug SC0039...
but still can't ensure the safety of water pump since it located at outside and exposed to environment...

Bro

Which do you recommend to protect 2 phone line? One of the line is for ADSL only and another is for phone and ADSL (regular splitter in between). Both line socket are close to each other.

Edit: I read your catalog, maybe the one which protect power and 2 data line is a cheaper solution than to buy 2 unit ADSL only protector? PM me.

PM me.
*

you means 1 tel cable split into telephone and modem by using ADSL Splitter Filter?
also, how ur equipments setup and what equipments involved?

Hi ts,

I would like to get some protection for my lcd, unifi modem and router. Any recommendation ?

Thanks.
*

if your Unifi used fiber optic cable, no aerial antenna and astro decoder connected to TV and no wired lan cable connected to PC and all the Unifi devices (BTU, RG, STB and DECT) located side by side with each others... u can use MDSC0039 for power protection only...

Does it also function as a surge protector and voltage regulator. Which one should I purchase for Astro and Hifi.
*

it can act as surge protector and over-voltage protector... but cant use as regulator that it doesn't come with transformer...
u can use MDSC0039FC if ONLY for Power and Astro protection connected to ur island equipments...

only can do via courier if wangsa maju... smile.gif
anyway, if ur TV connected with aerial antenna or nearby ur TV have tel cable, MDSC0039FC wont be efficient enough to protect ur TV setup

I want to protect my AV equipment from lightning. Is SFTV9822 FC able to do the job. What is the difference between the SFTV9822FC and the SFTV9622MS.

What about COD in Menara Hap Seng during lunch hour.
*

9822 no longer in production line... only 9622 still available, it used to protect power, satelite, aerial antenna and telephone (not for modem)

i very rare passby KL, most is around PJ area daily... smile.gif

My PC & streamyx/telephone equipment is not side by side.
Can I use SF9512-DSL for my streamyx/telephone equipment and MDSC0039 for my PC? Do you think it's OK??

What's the difference between MDSC0039 & SC0039?
For models with grounding cable how do I connect the grounding cable to ground?
*
Can you draft out the top down view of your equipment location? Location may the differences in term of protection efficiency...

SF9512DSL designed for modem streams ONLY... No designed for analog telephone... Take your own risk if u intended to do so...

SC0039 don't have grounding module and 10cm power cable
MDSC0039 have grounding module and 1 meter power cable

Only my PC use LAN cable to modem. Others use wifi.
But my PC also can use wifi if needed. So either way works.

If use LAN cable to connect my PC to modem what do I have to add?
If only use wifi?
*
If ur PC connected via wired LAN cable, u can use SD4C for power and LAN protection...
For ur modem and telephone side, u can use the combination of MDSC0039, SP9201DAF and SLAN1236 for power, tel and LAN protection...

For other PC connected via wifi, u can ignore them or use MDSC0039 for power protection...
