Hi Mr Gan,

need your advice on which device to choose, kinda dilemma here...

setup 1
1 x PC
1 x printer
1 x scanner
1 x speaker
1 x modem ( using normal tel line) just beside my pc and i connect it using LAN.
all the above using a same wire extension.

Setup 2
1 x TV ( connect through antenna )
1 x laptop ( no LAN connect)

Setup 3
1 x TV only but connect through antenna.

Thank you for your time and wish you have a nice day.

Hi can you recommend lightning protection for my home office?
1 PC with dual PSUs, 2000w
3 led monitors, 200w
1 amplifier+headphone, 100w ( this is what im most worried about as they cost a lot)
1 printer
1 adsl modem, asus. They claim its lightning proof but i want to be safe.
1 fan
1 Powered usb hub
1 laptop
1 ASIC miner using 200-400w

I need a device that can protect the setup but also support the power requirement, better if can support continuous 3000W

Unfortunately I only have one plug point near my desk. Is it safe to run them all from there? Let me know if you have any products that can be solution to my concern. Distance of desk from power outlet is 3m

Only power protection? Consisted with any LAN / tel cable to ur setup?
If only power, u can use 2 unit of MDSC0039 (standard) or NILI9920F (higher surge supported)

hi, i need your recommendation on which cal-lab product i should get for my apartment
and quote me the price as well, with postage to sabah smile.gif
if possible

setup 1 on a extension:
1 mitsubishi electric modem for jaring fibre 2mbps
1 tp-link wifi router connected to modem
1 DECT phone

seems like the wire that connect the wall unit and the modem for internet access is not the normal phone wire that used by TM hmm.gif
shown in pictures

setup 2 with another extension next to setup 1:
1 laser printer with no fax function
1 laptop charger for laptop (laptop with LAN cable plugged in most of the time)
1 phone charger
1 tablet/handheld charger

living room with extension:
1 60" TV not connected to any antenna cable/astro/etc
1 soundbar (in future)
1 PS3

kitchen:
1 fridge

drying yard:
1 washing machine

cal-lab can be installed by myself, right?
no need to do drilling and stuffs

is it like this in general?
wall plug > cal-lab > extension > devices

thanks!

Im wondering what should go for the following:

Setup 1 in living room but using eubiq track to hold all plugs?
1. TV
2. Sound system
3. Unifi modem & router
4. Blu-ray disc player
5. WII
6. PS2

Setup 2 in study area using either wall socket or eubiq track
1. 2 Laptops
2. 1 future desktop

Not sure if need to include alarm, cctv points and fridge/kitchen as well?

Have not install any yet because now paint works and electrical works is last.

So assuming that it is either fiber or copper, then?

For setup 2, I think it will be wireless as setup 2 will be upstairs and setup 1 will be downstairs.

As for telephone, we will not be using 1 but not sure if need a telephone point for unifi?

if setup 1, SF9812DSL (if copper) / MDSC0039 (if fiber)
if setup 2, MDSC0039 (power protection for PC setup only)

if the telephone will extend to another location, then the tel cable recommend to protect... smile.gif

you can consider the combination of MDSC0039FC and SP9201DAF if your TV no connected with any aerial antenna and not physical LAN cable connected on router for other PCs which located at other location... smile.gif
