Will get it this Friday, and hopefully can shot with it this Saturday

Steve Huff, Eric KIm, Zack Arias, David Hobby, all nod yes to this camera.

Hardly a chance they will be wrong

Thanks for pointing out. Didn't know about these people / well-known photographer also into x100. biggrin.gif

Just to share 2 tips i learned from Eric Kim's review on x100:

"I like shooting in black and white so I set the camera to RAW+normal jpeg and set the film mode to b&w. This way the image when reviewed in playback mode is b&w allowing me to see what the monotone image actually looks like, while at the same time the RAW image is available giving me the option of color as well at the time of processing."

and,

"I rarely check my images on the LCD so the image review is set to off in camera. However, I set the playback view mode to ‘viewfinder’ so that when I do press the play button the image appears in the viewfinder itself. This way I don’t have to remove the camera from my eye and can see the review image clearly even in bright sunlight."

Hope you will also find it useful! rclxms.gif

ya. My review off too. imo, dont even need to change the playback view mode to ‘viewfinder’. Use big LCD better then the small viewfinder right? haha.

Logically yes. Another reason for doing so is to save battery from draining. brows.gif

I heard very low stock now, even if you can find shop selling, likely they have no stock atm.
