Those who wanna get X100s, pls try K.Mart House of Camera.

I got the camera Rm3,420 last Sunday with free 8gb(class 6) memory card and leather fujifilm case. Very honest old man but sadly he will not accept credit card for that price.

Fyi, puchong IOI camworld no longer selling the camera RM3,390, the price already mark up to RM3,499 with cash only. Their credit card charges are 4% which is insane.

Thanks for the info smile.gif

Well, I finally got the x100S, and got the wide angle adaptor to go with it. Low light focusing is better, but still hunting. HOWEVER, manual focusing has improved like 100 times and this feature alone makes it more than worth it especially with focus peaking and phase detection.

To the X100S owners, what firmware are you using? Apparently, 1.01 slows down focusing speed to almost X100 levels. I notice that my AF focus speed is not too much of a difference from my X100.

Thanks for the offer, but I was thinking of something that doesn't look too much like a camera bag.

Have you checked out the Think Tank Retrospective series.... very nice. Got a Retrospective 5 for my X-E1.

Surprisingly, thats what I was eyeing. Know where I can get a good deal on that?

How much stuff can you fit in that?

You want to buy mine?  biggrin.gif

Here it is with my X-E1 18-55 and my X100. Alternatively instead of the X100, I keep my 35/1.4 in the smaller compartment.

It looks awesome especially in Pinestone. Bought it from YL in Pudu.

Wish I had bought the Retrospective 7 though..... More space for not much more $$$.....
*
Can you PM me your offer? 7 is too big for me. But I need a bag now since I bought the WCLX100. 7 has an iPad compartment right?

Haven't decided if want to upgrade to 7 just yet.... the 5 is just nice for the moment but I'm looking at buying the 55-200mm when it's released. If it can't fit in the 5 then I'll definitely upgrade then.
*
Ok dokes. But you recommend the 5 right? I mean i'll just be using that for one camera.

Some observation with the X100s.

What I noticed is that the image looks sharper but less saturated than X100 in STD mode.

Half-press focusing sometimes brings unnatural AWB. Half-pressing that again will fix that problem.

6400 ISO performance is awesome.

Manual ring + focus peaking is SUPERB!

Ya. Concur with ISo 6400.

I've set Auto ISO to max 6400, low 100, then minimum shutter 1/100

To X100s user, What's your setting?
*
I set it to low 200, max 6400, minimum shutter 1/30. But I guess 1/100 works eh? Less camera shake I suppose.

Quick question, How do I adjust the focus box size?

Hold down the AF button an use the secondary control ring (top right near your thumb) to adjust focus box size. Same with all the other X cameras.

Thanks very much!
