Hi all x100/x100s users, wondering is it still worth to get a new x100 right now? checking with YL, the difference between two of it are RM1000.... quite a big amount as I am on budget constraint.

I do not mind the low light slow AF on x100, just wondering is it ok to use eye-fi card?

i my self just bought a X100 few weeks after X100s release, seeing that X100 is much slower in terms of AF and buffer count, plus shooting in burst mode will scramble your file name, especially in LR4, but that are just the problem i am currently facing...but the picture do the job, experiencing edge to edge sharpness and incredible
My X100
if that 1000 bucks really mean sumthing to you, save up and get it for accesories

ya SOOC jpeg, didnt dare to shoot raw coz raw write speed too slow even with UHS card, plus the picture from X100 tells you " there is no editing needed"...XD

Worth. But imo, if can, try X100s 1st and see the difference worth the 1k discount

haha true true,
i have slight problem with X100 exposure control, camera easily overexposed even with EV at 0, and when shooting in low light EV 0 get me under expose...really have to fine tune with exposure dial to get shot accurate...

@Johnny82: just get one X20 before is too late! i got my X100 after X100s release..lagi cham..

I have been using the X100 for a little over a year now, and I have to say that the camera is still blowing my mind with its image quality. Even my friend who owned a full frame body commented on the camera's excellent lense.

Many people would tell you how discrete the camera is for shooting and I can say first hand that it's true. People seem to not be concerned at all when I shoot them with it, even at a relatively close degree.

Here's my series of street photography or I'd rather call them photo essays that I took at a rural area in Egypt.

How's the X100s so far for those that have it image quality wise? Does it blog the X100 out of the water?

x100s user checked in and sharing my boxing experience while comparing my old x100 side by side.
Fuji is cutting cost by putting the x100s in a cheap camera box as compare to the x100 which presented in a hard box with black silk wrapping around.
The new x100s original leather case also look so cheap, the previous x100 leather case is very smooth and darker color also a better inner quality and better craftsmanship. The new one just look as cheap as the OEM product from China and bad workmanship.
So I am letting go the leather case for RM200 to a thumbrest. Anyone interested?
I don't understand why Fuji is placing such market position for a premium camera for enthusiast when earlier x100 has created so much publicity. Can you imagine Leica in a brown cardboard box?
Overall the x100s is still good camera to own which has overcome all the issues in x100.

Welcome to the club! Why did you choose Fuji may I ask, because most people will go for Nikon or Canon for their first DSLR (though the X-E1 is actually a mirrorless camera, but hey I'm nitpicking). I own an X100 an was attracted by the Retro stylings of it. Those guys at DigitalRev and TheCameraStoreTV also did a tremendous job selling the camera to me when I watch their reviews.
