Yeah I'm a lv31 sorc now.. Enjoyed fireblast during the early lvls but it's not as awesome as it used to be coz the mobs now have freaking high hp... I should get another lvl (32) to get fire intensity and fireblast II.. Does it affect the dmg much?

Yes you should buy those skills when they are available, for now you can do a overchannel > mindblast > fb > ice needle > magma bomb > glacial retreat combo for increase damage or you can glyph your lightning trap, there is a glyph for it that increase damage for next skills or something, check it out. So your combo become lighting trap cancel > overchannel > mindblast > fb > ice needle > magma bomb > glacial retreat, yes you do not fully cast lightning trap, you can cancel it half way to get the boost.

Make sure you are using crystal that increase either crit or damage as well. Your blue crystal can be either increase hp, healing or a mix of both.

Those offensive crystals re hard to get thou... It's freaking expensive looking at how hard to earn gold from quests...

Overchannel is 32, so quite soon. Ah yes the useful offensive crystal are mob drops, so you need to get lucky to have them, for now just make do with what you have.

Emm actually is easy to earn gold from quests, due to the fact during leveling from 1-59, you seldom need to buy stuff except for skills and glyphs. Do not purchase gears, as the one you get from quest is more than enough. You seriously need at least 5-6k gold by the time you reach 60, so save up those gold.

But gold earned from quests re like peanuts now.. I only have 2x gold now..for real! I didn't buy any equips only glyphs and skills... I ve no idea how to earn 5-6k gold when I reach 60 thoooooo

Gold earning increase as u go up in level, as long as you do all quests in area before moving on you should have at least a few k gold as by the time you reach 60. As you reach higher level you can start solo farming dungeon and sell the loots, so don't worry about gold, you'll get them

I have about 200G now I'm 30... not sure if that is decent or sux. Shit loads already went into learning skills (omg lv30 skills already need 0.7G per skill).

I gather stuff everywhere I go, pick up every loot monster dropped, also pick up everything left by other players that can be taken... After all my habit being sort of "scavenger" style.

U got 200g? That's like 10x of what I have now... How did u get so much?

I think primarily came from selling raw materials, gathering essence, ore and plants, sometime yield special pure material / dye materials that sells for much higher price too.

Since gathering gives some temporary buffs, they are nice to do when out to fighting too.

3k g when you reach 60. still not enough to buy jack

3k gold should be enough to get some tier 13 gears but not enough to enchant it.

Selling raw materials can really earn that much? I don't really gather but I thought it was just to craft items and don't get profit from selling it to npc..

sell at broker to other players. some rarer material easily 1g per piece... crafting is a waste of time & $ at lower level.

valho, i didnt sure how to cancel the animation while casting my skill.. i am also a sorcerer. level 35 already..

the only thing i learn so far is that although sorcerer can dished out good aoe damage, do not aggro more than you can tank. at higher level, mobs got a lot of impact stats and we can be knock downed most of the time.. learn this lesson in pirate grotto haha

for weapon and armor crystal, i use all the green one that i looted.. nothing special.

as for gold, as of now i got around 130g..

I never use lightning trap cancel either since never glyph it lol

Yeap sorc have good AOE damage, but the problem is you need to be able to hit mobs before they reach you, so you can't really take on a lot of mobs at the same time.

oo been reading a lot in official forum that we can somehow cancel the animation but haven't been able to pull a successful cancellation yet..

as of now, i already mapped all evasion skill to my mouse. trying to be a very mobile sorcerer. and i just realize teleport jaunt and the back step shared the same cooldown timer?

Yes teleport and backstep share the same cooldown, though teleport can be glyph to have the cooldown reset.

I am not sure how the cancellation works either, and now that I am lvl 60 it's not even necessary, a overchannel > burst of celerity > fb > hailstorm kills any normal mobs I encounter, I can add a flame barrage or magma bomb for good measure.

dont worry about gold,you can farm it when reaching lvl60..10 daily quest get around 500g
and you can run some ins Argon Corps and Manaya' Corpus are good start,with luck can gain around 3k-5k gold per day
