erm.. the best way is to go to the area itself.. then u will noe which house/room is for rent as they will put a board/card outside wif phone number..

besides that, there are oso some ppl will post in our uni's email.. but those mostly for those who rent a whole house n seeking housemates..

Yeah. That day I saw quite a number of board hanging on the gate... You can try to call and ask lo. But, mostly its to rent the whole house. Unless you can find people to share the house with you... Otherwise... Haha...

TTS5 aint cheap oso oh.. @may i asked 1 bangalow house.. he offer 2.2k/month for a whole year contract.. wtf.. tat's way too expensive.. i say thank you then byebye!

but tts4 is the most expensive so far.. 2.5k/month for 9months (pioneer own) not including electric, water and internet. but if it's private own, u can nego the price bit la..

if cannot nego price.. then nego bout facilities.. request bout extra things e.g. air-cond, washing machine, tv, furnitures, alarm, juz ask for anything u can to make yr money worth!

and be caution of the contract.. some 9 months some 1 year..

Yeah... I got asked b4 a house in TTS5. Rm1400 for a totally empty house! SWT...

How many rooms in a house TTS5? I think it's more worth it when you have like a huge gang, and each room can share two persons?(for big rooms)
My friends in Sunway can share one master bedroom with 3 people, so in the end it's not so expensive. But they have included all utilities. Guess how much is their master bedroom. RM1400. (even more expensive)

How many rooms? Not sure... I think it should be at least 4 rooms.

If you want some basic furniture like table, then water heater, it can easily go up to 1500 or 1600.

But anyway, its still cheaper compare to EDU Square. Haha. Though not enough facilities like fridge, air-con, stove, house keeping service...

If you accept the offer, you will need to pay 2 months deposit, 1 month rental, and some other charges(about rm300-400).

Ah yes... Its for the whole academic year. If you want to shift out half way... the 2 months deposit will be forfeited.

I just sent an email there. She said the superior B is not available and offer me standard B, I forgot how it looks like already...

I also applied in June. Yeah. I think its a bit late. They told me they start to accept application from april. Many people appy very early wor.. BS la... I think they still have some room de..

Actually, I haven't got any confirmation from them in black and white yet. Last Saturday I went to the office to talk to them, they said they will offer me a Standard A room. Then they ask me when will I bank in the money, my mom told them Wednesday. So, I also not sure whether its ok or not. Hmmm...

I would suggest you to take the downstairs unit. Coz, only in the downstairs rooms, the windows got grille. I feel its safer. Haha...

1.4k is consider ok ady.. tts5 some have 3 rooms some hav 4 rooms.. yes, u need a gang to make yr money worth. sharing room is the best but less privacy.

yes, applying on june is late.. dun forget bout foreign students too.. they need the accommodation more than u do.. and the increasing number of students result in insufficient of hostels.. even the car park is not enuf.. last time they told me there are not so many cars, but recently the increasing number of students, the 100+ car parks in not enuf for students and staff.

most of the houses in TTS is furnished with basic furniture at lest.. water heater n air-cond don't count.. but stove, tv should be provided.. anything u feel u need, u muz request.. if the owner is kind enuf, he/she wont charge u more. house keeping definitely no.. but some houses in TTS5 provides pest control and alarm system.. juz a few..

some houses are owned by some property companies esp when u see the phone numbers for a few houses is the same.. usually for this houses, the price wont be cheap and cannot nego..

Hmm... If you wish to accept the offer, you much pay within the period stated in the offer letter. Otherwise the will consider you want to reject the offer.

Yea, I know. My parents saw that also.

The problem is they never even issue me an offer letter. I could pay the deposit anytime. I haven't got my offer letter for the UNi that time, so I didn't apply for accommodation. Now they're offering me the standard B one when they told me an entirely different thing when we went to the UNi there.

water heater very easy onli la.. see that owner willing onot onli.. like my house in tts2.. i request a few things.. the owner very kind enuf to agree to all.. he will fix it for us before sem starts..

wanna note that.. u stil hav onli 1 month to find house/room.. n most of the rooms will be occupied by now, if u wish to rent outside, do it fast..

Anyway, laughing tomato, can do me a favor? When you've got your offer letter, please notify me? So i want to rush them a bit. xD

oh..if like tat i may accept their offer 1st...
as a backup in case i cannot get a place to stay...
