hi, last dec i sent my application form and i received the offer letter in jan. its around 3-weeks time for my case, though they said that it normally take 2-weeks time for them to reply.

Is MEng civil engineering in this university approved by BEM? And how about BEng civil engineering? I need immediate confirmation. Or can you tell me how to check if it is accreditated by BEM?

i just checked out some of the professional accounting qualification websites ie ACCA, ACA and found that the F.A.M. degree doesnt offer many exam exemptions. *** does this mean i have to take the full quota of exams to become a member of the ACCA/ACA? and does anyone noe any professional corporate finance qualifications?

If you want to be an accountant, why dont go straight for ACCA or CPA programmes?

If you decide to take FAM @ nottingham, you can also choose to work with KPMG, PWC, Deloitte etc. Chances are high that they will even sponsor you to study and complete ACCA or professional accounting courses, if you choose to build your career with them.

hi there..im currently taking a-levels at help uc and thinking of applying for Chemical Engineering with Environmental Engineering course at nottingham..just wondering any of u guys take this course and must i take physics in a-levels to succed i this course?reason is im only taking chemistry,maths and econs for a-levels..thx

anyway, doing the foundation in engineering is an option too. just do the foundation, then 3 years doing ur desired course or u cud even extend it to 4 if u decide to go for MEng. got a friend doing this. he sez its awesome lol

yup dont waste ur time doing foundation when ur in a-levels. sorry i don't know whether without physics u can go into chem eng 1st year. best is thing to do is just give them a call!
