umm... do you know how to cut into the cheras-kajang highway from IMU? u know the junction at carrefour near IMU? take a right from there.. all the way straight.. lookout for cheras/kajang (i think they mention some jalan) it'll connect you to cheras-kajang highway and you can reach UNMC from there. its about 30-40 mins.

i plan to take civil engineering course there.. is it good to study it there? should i go for foundation in engineering or pre-u first? and wats the difference between BEng and MEng? which one is better?

I have a few friends who are taking Mechanical Engineering at Notts. They say the lecturers there are quite good but the fees are high (its about RM30k per year the last time I checked).

What pre-u are you talking about? A-levels? STPM?

IINM, If you complete your course in 3 years, you will be classified with BEng but if you take the extra 4th year, you will be awarded with MEng.

so it means that i can get my BEng by studying for 3 years, and get MEng by studying for 1 more year? if i apply for PTPTN, wat is the max amount i can borrow?

just a quick question, if i want to apply for Computer Science, can I use two sittings of A-Levels to apply, i.e. first sitting contains my Physics grade and my second sitting contains Maths and Chem.

Hi guys, how to go semenyih from BUKIT BINTANG?thru bus or LRT?can guide pls?

How much does it cost do engineering here per semester?

I know how to go by train.

By train, there are 2 choice from KTM.

1. Take monorail from Bukit bintang station to KL central, and switch to KTM and go to Kajang. Once you have reached Kajang KTM, you have to take a Taxi to the university, and the taxi drivers will charge you a flat rate of RM 20.00.

2. If you are hardworking, you can walk to Hang Tuah Monorail (by going through sungai wang plaza and lowyat). Then take Hang Tuah Star LRT to Bandar Tasik Selatan Station (Star LRT). After that, switch to KTM at Bandar Tasik Selatan and head to Kajang KTM. From there, just take the taxi again.

Do you mean by a whole house? Or a room?

I doubt so..at least would be RM 1000 above...
If worse come to worse, you have to go to Sunway Semenyih, which is RM 600 without furniture...but further away from college...

You can try asking other ppl and see, but as far as i know, i don't think you can rent a fully furnish house near campus for RM 1000. I think the cheapest would be RM 1100 or RM 1200....
