For some reason, I'm not really into Star Wars although I've seen all the movies. I've been putting off getting the Blu-ray collection even though I'm tempted.

Also almost got the X-Wing cause I kinda like jet fighters. But resisted.

But personally, I think it would be a bad time to get into Star Wars since the universe is so huge and never seems to stop. Now with the next episode already confirmed, eho knows what other characters and ships/fighters will be introduced!

Already so difficult to resist existing themes.

Star Wars I'm slowing down a lot, rather than collect the set I feel like I'm collecting the minifigs only right now. Haha.

Yup, and the reissue a lot of minifigs within a year with a more detailed print, like added back print and leg print. Kinda, give up, I already missed out quite a number of nice minifigs.
*
LEGO also started with arm printing/tattoos on arms for Series 10 so who knows what else they can reissue!

Armor & uniform details, tattoos etc

I decided to take down all my modulars to see how it all looks like together. It was real marathon carrying 8 modulars down the stairs from my room to the large table downstairs and then bringing them up all again.  sweat.gif But looking at them all assembled and line up is worth it!  thumbup.gif

[attachmentid=3350985]
[attachmentid=3350987]
[attachmentid=3350991]

I think the 6 seater table is not big enough. As you can see it is almost filled to the brim from end to end. I think I can fit another 5 more but have to take more shots from the rear and front.  sweat.gif

See the 2 vehicles? I found out that the FB and PC are both 2 stories and both have vehicles!

Damn. Cannot unsee!

Totally awesome.

Btw update with you guys. Yesterday, i went to Gurney TRU, saw no batman set left. All gone in 2-3 days. So, i keep back my word to say that penangites are not interested in batman sets in previous post. I checked the temple of light, the retain price is 314.90. So, after 10%, is just about 280. Chaud, you don't have to bring in anymore. The retail pricr is better. =)
*
That what I noticed over the weekend. Was in Sunway Pyramid and 1U. Checked out Parkson at Pyramid and only 1 Arctic Batman set left. AEON shelf was pathetic.

Was at TRU and AEON 1U - no Batman sets left.

Anyone here watch The Walking Dead?
I'm a fan of the series, and guess what?

I'm planning to MOC my very own cast of Walking Dead characters
and soon MOC a zombie scene tongue.gif

Today my Rick Grimes and Shane Walsh arrived in the mail biggrin.gif

Maybe Hershel's Farm, hahaha just buy the farm from LEGO, settle. Just need to order the zombies tongue.gif

Love the series. Reading the comics too but the black & white as well as art style makes it hard for me to differentiate the characters sometimes.

If you have LEGO City or Modulars, you can do the city scene too. Or hospital. Basically the whole city's your playground!

Waiting to see your MOC!

Nice "Walking Dead" MOC.

I just saw a pic for a "Shaun Of The Dead" MOC with building. Not an "action" diorama though (like the Cyclops & Chicken Man) posted by our bro here.

This is what I meant in my earlier post. If you have modulars, a city or any other buildings.

Actually is it safe to buy from Lelong sellers? I have never bought anything there before but last week found my way there because I wanted storage drawers for my Lego parts. I signed up, pm the seller but never get a reply. Is that normal?
*
Never bought from lelong but bought LEGO (Catwoman set) from eBay a month or so back. Any bros up north selling on eBay as well can pm me your ID?

Maybe you're the person I bought from!

If you want to start, Fire Brigade is a good start since the EOL is soon I believe. Better get it before the price shoots up.

So here's a question for all all you collectors: if the value appreciated. Would you actually sell it if it was your only set?

Or would the satisfaction of knowing you have a valuable set be enough?

I'm asking because I have some Hot Toys which value has gone up which I didn't attempt to sell.

I did that when I was collecting comics though. It was cheaper and used to by multiple copies of certain comics.

So what big big set are you referring to?

Oh, so you used to collect MP series. I've got MP-01 and MP-05 only from the MP series. Got a bunch of other TF too.

Haven't sold ANY of my toys so far. Any they continue to pile up in my store room. doh.gif

I'm sorry. But this could be the ultimate poison that I've come across. Please don't blame me. Consider yourselves warned.

LEGO - 2013 sets (with RRP USD)

It's nice of them to put total cost breakdown (but in USD) but akso total cost if you get every single 2013 set! Don't know if this is the complete list as I don't think I see modular in it.

2 items caught my eye other than the usual stuff in my wishlist.

Robin with Redbird Cycle (polybag) - strange haven't heard this before or seen leaked pics. Thinking probably same as Captain America bike

BMW 40200 (unknown theme) - more licensed vehicles?

Oh. Another BMW lover eh? thumbup.gif

I just found this link too.

40050 Mini BMW

The new Mini Cooper in LEGO form maybe? Intriguing.

Well. Cheers to all of us. Let's eat roti kosong and drink ais kosong to save up for our collection tongue.gif

Comes with 4 minifigs (3 men, 1 woman) and a dog plus accessories.

BrickshowTV already did a review on it.

Yeah, had the same thinking as you do. Need more cops for Commissioner Gordon.

Just got back from a scouting mission at 1U (again!) and I have to say no new stocks on the shelves. Don't feel as excited as I did a few weeks back when I reported the seeing the (then) new 2013 sets.

These days - I get more "kick" seeing the pics of your shipments. Signs of LEGO addiction and probably hand itching to get something!

Told my wife I heard that LEGO is cheaper in Hong Kong. Now all she talks about is HK and she's trying to tempt me to go by using that line back on me!

Here's my 1st contribution for the day to help push to v8

Caryane - maybe you should check out Creator Set # 31012 then. Looks like a modern house. Think this is a pretty nice looking set.

Even though it's not a theme I'm collecting ....... yet. I feel my defences slowly fading. Too much poison.

Also, was watching a few episodes of "The Walking Dead" - you can get a pirate head and MOC The Governer too.
