9500 Fury Class Interceptor. I feel this set is under appreciated, anyone else have this? I prefer this over the Tie Fighter.



9493 X-Wing Starfighter. No I'm not a butt guy! Just wanna show off the wing mechanism. Lovely behind isn't it? lol!

I always order a few sets of this in every order because I truly believe this will be one of those sought after sets in the future when it is discontinued.

Hee hee. I don't really follow SW at all. I have watched the original films but the prequel I only watched the first one. I know it's sad, I'm so waaaay behind!

I just buy SW sets because they look cool! Don't really follow the story. My SW universe is only X-Wing, Tie Fighter, Millennium Falcon and Death Star. haha! This is embarrassing!

Don't need to kill for this set, just buy it. It is actually not that expensive. I remember TRU was selling it for RM579.90, that's a crazy price and I can make a handsome profit if I sell at that price! At that price can almost get the Millennium Falcon which should be just over RM600....

I'm aiming at this set too and I gather that quite a number of us are keen also. So I'll start a bulk order once I know the pricing and stock availability.

9398 Crawler will be here by end April. I managed to squeeze in one set.

This is going to be a very heavy set given the number of Power Function motors in the set. So shipping will be slightly more expensive than regular sets. With this set I think the actual weight will be the issue rather than the volumetric weight.

Hmmm.... TRU quite sad in terms of CMF availability. I never see them having more than half box full of it, and sometimes totally don't have. If anyone is interested I can help bring in entire box of CMF. Currently I can see in the stocklist Series 5, 6, 7 and 9 are available for order as complete box of 60 packets. Series 10 is also available but not in complete box, only as loose packets atm.

Well, Lego are not RC so I don't think we can achieve the speed that RC cars can even after we changed the gearing. imho need to put in RC car motors to up the speed that would be the easy way but then again I'm no mechanical engineer so I can be totally wrong about this! Just wanted to give my 2cents and help push this to V8! lol!

Nope! A re-issue of the exact set will not happen. What Lego will do is release a newer updated version with improve building techniques and details of an old set. Probably the most significant one being this year's UCS X-Wing, they also did similar releases with other SW classics like 9492 Tie Fighter, 9493 X-Wing and 7965 Millennium Falcon. I doubt they will do that for franchise/licensed sets but SW being so popular it is the exception rather than the norm...

What sort of old sets are you looking for? BrickLink will be the best source for discontinued sets. Either buy the set from BrickLink or build your own from parts ordered from BrickLink. Try it, it's challenging and fun!

Gasp! I'm just ikan bilis la with my very limited knowledge! I'm what they call "Katak Dibawah Tempurung"... only small fry in the Lego universe.

No point chasing those sets, prices are high and if you work out price per minifig it is very high! Honestly the new SW minifigs from year 2012 onwards are quite impressive so much so it makes the old minifigs rather boring.... So really you are not too late in the game, start collecting now! haha!

Sorry. Black Pearl is a discontinued set so no way you will pick up a bargain unless the seller has been hiding in a cave without internet for the past 12 months! haha!

imho Black Pearl is quite a basic set, not much in terms of playability other than the really cool black of the entire ship and of course the minifigs. I prefer Queen Anne's Revenge, size is more decent. The Black Pearl feels more like a little sampan and the minifigs don't have much room to move around the deck...

And what I am really drooling all over the deck is the massive 10210 Imperial Flagship! Now that's a real ship! Nice to play with and very impressive as a display set too!

If I'm going to pay RM700-800 for the Black Pearl and Queen Anne's Revenge I'd rather pay the current asking price of RM1300-1400 for the Imperial Flagship.
