Just got myself a clay mitt. Supposedly much fast and longer lasting compared to traditional clay. Can't wait to give it a go over the weekend biggrin.gif

Where can I find the clay mitt locally and how much is it?
I got it for $32 which isn't too bad hehe...
*
You are getting the mitt from the URL, and ask them to ship it over?

Not sure if they ship directly to Malaysia or not. For all my US shipping, I get the merchant to send the stuff to my forwarding agent who will combine all my packages and DHL them to me.
Thanks for the feedback. Always wanted to pay Osren a visit but haven't manage to do so yet hehe...
*
Accessories wise, you can get it there without problem.

For liquids, they have plenty too... Just a matter of you like to use it or not.

hrrm....I think I need to re-visit my AG chamois. Only used it once and back into it's container it went. Also have a 'natural' version....stinky stuff....

But those 'Absorber' in the pic doesn't look like it's synthetic chamois....looks more like cloth ones...

Edit: ok. Did a little googlling...they're PVA/Synthetic....
*
Meaning it is the same as the one from Osren? I think Osren is only selling for RM40, right?

I like how this chamois dry as well, even thought you have to do it twice. But I find it very effective, compare to WW.

So what I did was, 1 round chamois, 1 round WW. Dry like under a hot sun.

Update:

as the wheels dried up and i was applying tire/rubber dressing, i took a few rubs with my fingers between the rim spokes and crevices. sadly there are still some dirt, however its really light and just mere water is capable of washing them off my fingers easily.

bear in mind though, it's around 3 weeks no car wash (i think since TT? LOL), a lot of spirited driving (which means a lot of hard braking) including a touge trip at genting sempah/genting highlands/karak just 2 days ago (friday night saturday morning) and again, no scrubbing or whatsoever at all smile.gif

Did you mean the Sonax? Wow....even I couldn't make it work as good as you made it sound like. Hrrmmm....maybe another re-visit is in order. Oh...and yeah you would need to use it LIBERALLY and leave it to do it's work for a minute or two (or longer). But it's expensive stuff man...and the dealer already ran out of the 5L container (the one that you saw).
Careful there....he might be Hancock in disguise....  sweat.gif
*
He is indeed the Hancock, without the "Han"d. laugh.gif

Quazacolt your wheel brush, I would like to "buy" it. But I'll need trial period of few weeks.

Interested to know also....
*
Well, it doesn't rain after I applied...so very hard to tell.

I do noticed that my Honda's rim become a bit yellowish, which did not have when I only apply opti-seal on it.
Not sure that is due to heat or dust, but it does bead the water.

Well, only 2 weeks observation and I am already here.

Dunno, it was suppose to be 1 year. But the guy in the office said with more practical usage, 6 months.

got 2, their normal ones, and the xtreme series similar to meguiar's ultimate series or even turtle ICE series.

=edit=
relevant links:
xtreme:
http://www.sonax.com/Car-Care/Products/Tyr...coating-NanoPro

normal coating:
http://www.sonax.com/Car-Care/Products/Tyr...Coating-NanoPro

cleaner got more for non xtreme lol... refer:
http://www.sonax.com/Car-Care/Products/Tyres-Rims-Rubber
*
Then mine is the normal version. Same as the one selling in Garage section.

I'm not sure if they are selling to end user for the xtreme version though.

Actually the difference of xtreme and normal is just the dilution, right?

Wearing glove is a norm for me all the time when washing the car.

After I have all the spray items, I start to wear mask too.
