Not really. Got the fork second hand. Rims i bought second hand with hubs for rm100. Pedals are plastic, handlebar and stem rm30 for both from warehouse sale. And second hand shimano non series brakes which are really good i dont know why. Dont have to spend up front that much. Get a good frame even if its cheap, as a canvas. Slowly upgrade. Not everyone has the capital to buy everything all at once. At least he may have a good start/ticket into this hobby.

Dont have to spend super amounts to get a dialed whip.

I agree! I myself am riding under RM2k bike as well. It definitely will be heavier than the rest of em 3k+ bikes as the components are very entry level. I mean, from my experience - so what if you've got lighter parts and chunner parts but cannot ride for nuts? I've seen old school riders with 90's style MTB bikes with V-brakes and rigid forks with steel frames shredding Kiara better than a duallie/fullsus rider can

In the end, the enjoyment this sport gives is from how well we ride.

Now deadlift for better bike control son!!!!

Anyhow, we always get poisoned. Just poisoned myself with the dartmoor phantom or hornet. Affordable and looks the devil!

Not really but more gears mean more options to have while climbing.
