Hard to explain..... Once u use the carbon rotor, you will know what i mean....

Currently, 50% power i press the lever, i get 75%+ for steel rotor, but only 25-40% for carbon rotor. In order to get 100% power for braking, i need press more harder the lever. Unable to skid since i use the carbon rotor for rear brake.
*
diagnostics:
air in brake line so bleed.
pads not suited for use on C rotors.
rider skill, no enuff skill so depend on brake power to compensate.
tires, not enough grip so lack traction under braking.
riding position too backward, so F brake not getting benefit of forward weight transfer and better traction.

Well, i think you are better with the polygon. Sam Reynolds ride a polygon. Other than that you get the XCR forks. Good i tell you. Other than that is quite entry level and will serve well until its broken or you upgrade. Its got hydroformed tubes which looks good (to me) and a shorter chainstay (from pictures off the googre). Good for practicing manuals and whipping when you jump. Slacker TT as well. To me, i would choose the polygon.

that is if he worships Sanm apaname. hehe. but if he worship Aaron Gwinn? try the tested method, at that price point, pick the colour you rike!

then sorry to say, you have no business riding. so before you head out for another make sure your affairs are in order.
DH is fun for sure but more dangerous so the need for safety equipment is paramount.
ask yourself, if you are willling to blow xxK on bike and bling surely a decent helm is a must.
ventilation is v v v important and usually more $ gets you more vents and cooling.

Throwback Thursday! Remember them old school GT's? Heavy as hell and crazily welded, threaded headsets and V-brakes?

Hardly see any GT's around these days....

Roaming around KL?  Then no need to get a mountain bike.  You may want to look at other options.
1.5K - 2K can get you a pretty good foldie.

rm900 polygon roadbike already can liao.

@skyblu - i'm also thinking of going foldie but then It may look too small for me since I'm a big guy :|

@dickybird - where you see the 900rm polygon roadie? pm pls

@all - "Bicycle Malaysia" the online bike store. Is it OK to deal with them? they really sell bikes at a reasonable price. They offered me Venzo Scud or Fuji Nevada which is in my budget.

Road distance is about 12-13km. FYI the route I normally use to go Kiara is Subang -> Sunway Mentari -> Cable bridge -> SS1 -> SS2 -> Tropicana Mall -> TTDI (Kiara). Normally avoid high traffic roads as much as I can (no choice at cable bridge though).

For KDCF, after SS1, I head towards taman megah -> dataran prima -> tropicana -> sunway giza -> KDCF. Distance this way is 15-16km I think.

Anyway, got ur number. Will contact u soon

RESPECT! i live in Kepong 6km from FRIM also i cannot summon my lazy arse to go.

You can do it wan. When I rode the distance the first time, halfway oredi panting like crazy. Reach kiara died no energy left somemore have to cycle all the way home. Killer gila. After few more times ok dy. Maybe familiar with route and also stamina increased. Main thing is start slowly and pick up pace later.

Maybe you can try planning your route using google maps and then riding it to see if the roads are too busy, or if there are shortcuts that you can explore. I think you can oso ride to kiara using the kg segambut dalam road and enter from the side of the school in hartamas
*
I know it is all in the mind. haha. never been to kiara in a very long time but better go again soon before it is gone forever. after that, how long before they try and destroy FRIM? since they already destroy PCP.
