Its easier to just get a simple recommendation and straight check out the build on youtube from veterans such as yourself. The gladiator sounds interesting enough to try.

im also league starting with this

going to spec into harvest and reforge physical with low level wands , amulets , shield and cluster jewel to get easy +1 to phys

and then mirror it with kalandra to possibly to get +2 to phys

this build is good only for mapping

for bossing you need to find someone else to carry lol

starting quite late. Wasn't really sure want to play or not.
trying out Phox RF, since I never really tried RF before. Also playing SSF, don't feels like trading.

thought so far:
- unique still drops like rain, doesn't feels like nerfed at all
- WAIT WHAT WE HAVE ITEMS TO ROLL CORRUPTED ITEM NOW?! LOL...
- those new harvest crafting costs seems ridiculously steep...

Idk about you I play trough the story and all I get are mostly scrolls and currency. Totally nothing else worth picking up even for upgrade.

They should rename this season to Path of Scrolls.

I write my own filter so at least I'm in control of what I need specifically.

Drop is fine, don't feel anything wrong with it.

I just probably felt a bit salty with the harvest change. I don't do crafting much, but previously I still full spec into harvest on atlas tree, it is just very useful to roll stuff for free.

Now that they make the soul tradable... the cost has become way too high to make use of it without trading / being no-lifer. Don't feels like there's any meaning to spec into harvest anymore for casual like me, instead going full essence this time.

WTF exalt & divine orb totally swap places? But the drop rate hasn't really changed at all.
Ex is still incredibly rare to come by, but only worth 14c now... wow. It's not like we can trade trash 6L for one...

act 1 - 10 is just a filler / leveling placement dummy

Too demoting to keep playing. Past season you still can sell some 1c loot along the way. Now no one wanna buy.

Now it force you to be on top of the map to be able to see something remotely worth while to pick up.

this league ive stopped selling 1c 5c 10c items , its either 50c or 1 divine orb

quickly got my 38/40 challenges done and wait for next league

Went back in after a few years.. surprised with the amount of changes!

Im still casual though, is there any good guides/videos for endgame? I kind of got lost at the mapping.

Let see what nerf going to hit Lightning Conduit.
Tried it out in event, feels decent although fingering very busy. If still okay then start with LC next league.
Checked out some other build like Poison Conconction, my brain cannot understand this build.

The best QoL I like there is definitely Awakened gem now drops in regular witnessed map bosses,
where previously it is quite inaccessible & expensive.

Not sure how I feel about the new league content,
it appear to be a mostly new unique mini-boss / boss encounters, not the killing 999999 monster type.
I think what will likely happens is just people build large amount of DPS to just instagib these bosses quickly to prevent Resolve lost.
otherwise I think it's a nice change of pace with a content type that isn't about killing shit tons of monsters.

Still on the fence of what skill actually to play

- Bane, for the 3rd time? Or try SoulRend instead for a change of style...
- Lightning Conduit? It's cool sounding/visual skill but playstyle felt a bit risky

Get off my comfort zone & try out attack build???
Haven't played this type for years... Overall I just don't understand how to level / play attack build tbh.
