😥 a bit busy, but maybe just play a bit just to understood the league system.
Caustic Arrow Ballista? Maybe. Checking random idea on youtube now. ehhhhhhh can't say I like it at all. It's pretty dang weak early on, guess that's why people just suggest to level with something else before transition. also a bit too much buttons to operate, 2 button for main skill, at least another 2 or 3 buttons for buff skill / curse proc.... NOPE.

didn't played much last league... even in the first day of Necropolis I already felt insanely annoyed by the amount of corpses.....................................
let just hope boat league isn't too bad; but then again it's hard to screw up something that simple, just click and kill.
I'm no melee guy, in fact 99% of the time I play templar/witch..... Okay going to try duelist frost blade this time
still in Act 6 atm; not sure if scripted beginner luck - first shipment got a high life 5L - tutorial heist got a high life curse elemental weakness glove .... at least those kinda made up to the absolute awful start & serious struggle through the early acts...
Good League

OKAY GUYS POE2 EARLY ACCESS IS COMING THIS WEEKEND!
heres what you need to know (copy pasted from my alt acc)
POE2 is a diablo clone, you have access to 6 classes which then can have 2 different specializations (ascendancies).
Gameplay wise, its a mix between getting a good build/gear and actual player skill. players are encouraged to actively avoid telegraphed attacks that hit hard tho weaker but faster attacks could be mitigated by defenses.
This game is in EARLY access, they plan to add more classes and each class would have 3 specializations/ascendencies once the game officially launches.
The game is "functionally complete" at this point where the game's end game has already been fleshed out, the campaign is in complete where you only have access to the game's first few acts and will need to repeat the acts at a higher difficulty before being able to access the end game. on full release there will be no repeats as new acts will replace the repeated acts.
There are some weapon classes that have not been revealed yet and we do not know if they will be available during EA, such as swords and daggers.
Weapons, Skills, Armours are NOT class locked. as long as you fulfill the stat requirement you are able to use them. tho some ascendancy locked skills/abilities do exist in the game.
IS POE P2W?
when the game officially releases it will be free to play. but whether its purely free is debatable as the premium stash tabs give so much value and saves so much time it becomes almost compulsory. but to most players we will consider it as an acceptable in game advantage as you are not paying for in game power. there is NOTHING that you can buy from the ingame store that can grant you player power. You can buy in game cosmetics and premium stashes. Premium stashes saves a huge amount of time and is the only "player advantage" you can buy from the in game store.
i personally consider poe as a "free to try" game where once you've tried and enjoyed the game you can then purchase premium stash tabs to a level that the game feels comfortable to play with less tedium.
however, since the game is releasing in Early Access first, you DO NOT have access to the game unless you buy a 30 USD supporter pack or obtained an EA key from other means.
so either you wait for the game to officially release (estimated between 6 months to 2 years from now) or you could obtain a key to gain EA.
what happens to you EA gear/characters/progress once the game officially releases?
you get to KEEP everything you earned. but the caveat is that all the gear/stash/characters that you have will be marked as "Early Access Only". you can continue playing with them but you will be locked out of the live servers. if you continue playing an EA character you can continue earning wealth and gear but it will all be marked as EA. Anything marked as EA will not be able to interact with non EA counterparts. it is as tho playing on an offline server where you cannot interact with other players. you will not be able to party or trade with non EA players. so you have a choice of either continuing your EA characters but would be HEAVILY ENCOURAGED to just restart a new character and play the game anew once the game officially releases.
Other monetization info
Players can buy point packs or supporter packs. Players are heavily encouraged to buy supporter packs instead of point packs as supporter packs tends to have "more value" as they tend to come bundled with cosmetics and other goodies rather than just points. the point values between a supporter pack and a point pack is EQUAL. so its almost always better to buy a supporter pack.
Supporter packs can also be upgraded at a later date so you would never feel FOMO for not buying an expensive pack from the get go. However supporter packs are replaced with new packs every 3-4 months and DO NOT RETURN. so there is SOME FOMO as some cosmetics/effects that are tied to supporter packs can no longer be obtainable once they leave the store.
it takes around 30 to 60 USD worth of points to buy up all the premium stashes to fully enjoy the game. Buying more than that is up to the players discretion and some players are fine with only a small handful of premium stashes.
All stashes/cosmetics bought are "cross game compatible" where possible. If they can logically work in both POE1 and POE2 they will work in both. if you buy a sword weapon skin in poe1, in poe2 you can use that skin too. but if you buy a skill effect in poe2 where the skill does not exist in poe1, then it will not be usable in poe1.
The devs intend to maintain this "cross compatibility" where possible even in future iterations of the game so any purchases made waaaaay back in poe1 would be able to be used in a hypothetical poe5.
Early Access begins this weekend.
I for one am hyped for the game and will be jumping in
