TuneIn with THR Gegar now working nicely (takes a while to connect but once it's connected seems to be stable). I guess they must have fixed the stream issues.

Why useless? I like it a lot, I just place it on the wireless plate (I have the wireless plate and not the stand) and it charges, I even do that even for a short 10-15 minutes top-up. No need to worry about untangling cables etc. Put it on the plate and I don't worry about it ....

Yeap, the wattage while it is on idle is very low. It is similar to the cordless phone base station. Nothing to worry about.

I bought the wireless plate (DT-900) for my bedside table. Balik rumah, before changing I put the phone on the plate and forget about it.

I am thinking of getting the stand but I have the Micro-USB cable permanently connected to my office computer and I cannot justify the prices tag for the stand as compared to just plugging in the Micro-USB ..... not worth the money personally.

The pillow is the more fancy charger as compared to the wireless plate charger , the concept is the same. What I am interested to know is how many phones can the pillow accomodate? If more than 1, then it is a worthy buy if your household has more than 1 phone capable of wireless charging ..... The plate obviously can take only one phone.

I have a yellow Lumia but the plate is White (which is not bad as it blends well with my room, yellow plate would be garish heh heh heh)

Daylight shots are known to be less sharp than what you'd expect. Portico is supposed to correct that a bit but still not as sharp as we'd like.

I was able to send my video to my iPhone (of course the iPhone was jailbroken and have Air Blue Shring installed) so I assume you should be able to send Photos to WP devices. I also managed to send photos/recording from my iPhone to my Lumia as well.

Mine is a middle east version so the 1002 at the back of the firmware revision # is probably region specific (I know the UK has it as 1017 or something)

What is your full firmware version and OS version?

Definitely not portico because portico is the 10211 version. As for what batch, I don't believe so.

Confirm that whatsapp chat history will be wiped clean after re-flash (I did my reflash last night and I backed up everything!) but since Whatsapp only backs up to phone memory (in the case of Lumia 920 anyway), when the phone is re-flashed, everything is wiped clean and the backup is gone.

Luckily my finance program was backed up to Skydrive, other I would be one pissed motherfkr today.

Windows Phone 8 backup/restore system is bloody LAME!, I am still downloading all my apps (Gigabytes of them what with Asphalt and Need for Speed or whatever) and all the system updates (Like the Extra+Info, Network+ etc) have to be updated manually (and they cannot be found in the App Store unless you have the direct link or the CR code which is another FAIL)

I updated because I wanted the Storage Check thing and guess what, it's not there!!! WTF? I suspect it's because I need to update all the system settings first (like the Extra+Info etc etc.) Good god this is bloody painful.

I have done backups and restore of iPhones, iPads etc and everything was done in like 30-45 minutes because iOS devices can be backed up (and I mean every single thing) to the computer.

Microsoft needs to do the same damn thing

Anyone know why I cannot find "the Facebook" app. I downloaded it the other day and it has been my default Facebook app but now I cannot find it in the App Store ..... where did it go?

Portico came out early February I think same like the Europeans but I wanted the Storage Check since my Other has grown in size to close to 10GB ...... so had to do this manually as Nokia has not released this firmware OTA yet .... sigh.

Okay, now the app is called Facebook-JDB ...... sheesh.

Push the Power Button AND the volume down button simultaneously for 10-15 seconds. The phone will reboot (this is similar to taking out the battery in older Nokia).

This is called a soft-reset and you may need to set your clock & calendar again after the process

Did they just update it or something because now I cannot even login (I had to re-login after reflasing my Lumia) as the login page keeps on flickering (as in auto-refresh) without even giving me the chance to login .... haihhhhh

Try it again. This time, do not release the buttons until you can feel the phone vibrates as it comes back to life.
