i gone through in our forum and was looking for some battery saving such as u ..tot31 ..fruitie and others..

how did u guys manage to get battery life more than 2 days?
what is SOT btw?

i want to disable samsung bloatware such as social hub, game hub etc..
u said can do in the app manager.. in there only "stop" the services.

which app u suggest to 'freeze' those bloatware? titanium backup?

Hi Blackthorn,
First of all, your phone must be rooted to disable all those bloatwares.
Then install custom ROM which you can find a lot in XDA.
Getting the phone to last more than 2 days, you need to tweak the processing speed and etc or you are lite user.

Titanium Backup is the best apps to backup, restore, freeze the unwanted apps.

What's your current ROM?

Does the tibu able to backup freezed apps setting ? If yes how to backup that ?

i'm gonna murder my sd card. once again it has succeeded to die on me for the third time already. ownership of 4-5 months only yes i do transfer files on it regularly (maybe 3-4 gb a week) but then i suppose solid state memory types should be less problematic

what should i do?

1. phone cannot detect
2. recovery cannot detect
3. > 5 different pcs cannot detect (via supplied adaptor by sandisk)

its like its physically here but not here

how do i reformat it at all?

You cannot murder something that is already dead.

But if all already cannot detect, there is not nothing much u can do. Want to format also kenot. You can try take it back to SanDisk and ask if they got any method to recover your data.

Sync your iphone to itunes first. Then create a google account (if you havent done so already).

Under contacts in itunes, check sync with google account and enter the google id.

Then go to ur Note 2, then add the google account that you created above. All the contacts
should be imported.

Send back 2 weeks ago for Mic faulty. Picked up last Friday at Low Yat Samsung service center.
Immediately test on the CS counter. Still having same problem.
Look at the CS and asked what the tech support guy did.
She checked and said, changed Mother Board..
*Face Palm* X100000.
I said it written in the report ..Mic problem. Why the heck they go change the mother board for? Nobody bother to check the MIC???
And no testing afterward. The CS there.. shamefully take back my note 2 and said they will back to me on this.

If I was you I would be disappointed...
But hey on another note, I would be so pleased, they changed the motherboard for free.
That would make my day..

Only installed CWM by PhilZ... then Kernel by Perseus, then inside CWM install zip SuperUser and Busybox files for rooting..

counter increased 2 already heheh.. later gonna buy Chainfire TriangleAway and Titanium Backup PRO.. and freeze all unwated apps by Samsung.. according to this link Safely remove unwanted Apps

yeah.. I guess they only provide changelog if there's a major update.

I thought inside KIES can import contact from non-Android phones?

i have always used 3rd party sms app to set custom message tones for contacts...
