QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Feb 23 2013, 06:56 PM) just wait for 14th March (latest rumor announcement date) then everything will clear haha white valentines day else, either earlier or later than the rumor date we will know it LOL QUOTE(joytest @ Feb 23 2013, 06:57 PM) supposedly all screens are variants of lcd technology. however I personally don't care much if the screen displays blacker blacks or whiter whites as long as it doesn't look washed out like the early 90's passive tfts omg those were bad bad bad. Just googled... it seems like the same LCD as HTC M7 ![]() |

QUOTE(antt00 @ Feb 23 2013, 08:03 PM) Seriously if u dun give any info your post will just be another complain with no solution. I mean what's the point of you posting. okie, sorry for not being detailed because I was rushing for time as I had dinner appointment. I tried a few methods the other day and failed then today decided to try again. Last few times, i flashed through Odin for the Philips CWM, flash counter increased but always overlapped by the original one. Reason being I think I used Odin 3.04 and 3.07. Today I used the older version and it worked v1.85 (deemed the most stable?). So I press volume up + home + power button and went into the custom recovery. Happily installed Vanilla RootBox at first, first attempt failed. Rebooted itself and stuck. Boot into recovery again, installed successfully but the boot screen, appeared the normal boot screen but went distorted like flickering.. then died. Had to try another rom, Liquid. Same results. Now I am back to original firmware and plan to try again later. I will update again later. |

Please remember rootbox and liquid are aokp/aosp roms. So a factory reset/wipe data is a MUST if you are coming from stock rom. Would be good also if you format system also before flashing. Check the md5 of the rom you download to make sure its not corrupted before flashing. I have seen people complain of glitches of the bootanimation of aosp rom. Also do not flash any other kernel and just stick to the one that comes with the rom.Now I am back to original firmware and plan to try again later. I will update again later. |
