QUOTE(iOrange @ Mar 16 2013, 11:12 AM) You mean "good " is it ? I constantly come across such a word "gooding" in this lowyat forum. Is this the new language of the modern teens that we old guys are unaware or have fallen behind the times ? A quick check on Urban Dictionary shows me : Gooding A corrupt and scary place where noone thinks for themselves and eventually become trapped. My friends went to gooding and never came home And the interpretation doesn't make sense to me on his reply in the post

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Mar 17 2013, 09:51 PM) You will lose more money that way. A few hundreds when you sell your Note2. Add hundreds more when you buy iP5/Z10 then lose again when you sell it and finally lose more hundreds when you finally buy HTC One. Better keep your Note2 and sell it once HTC One release here. Regards choices between iP5/Z10..only you knows which one suits you best. Why not as long as his pocket can match his wants ?

QUOTE(joelucas91 @ Mar 18 2013, 02:36 AM) It's the 32GB version. The 64GB version is still ever elusive. Rumours put it at about 2 to 3 weeks after the 32GB version arrives at the respective countries. HTC Msia brought in 64gb n not 32gb version of HTC One X+ So possible they will do so similarly

QUOTE(playxboxwii @ Mar 18 2013, 10:26 AM) Is there any big difference between one x and one x + beside the better battery and abit faster?? But serioulsy htc one x battery sucks to the max.. Sorry off topic. Btw the 1to1 exchange on 1st year warranty ..does htc butterfly and one x + have it..if have meaning htc one could be the same?? Not worth buying the HOX+ unless for its 64GB storage It heats up faster and drain battery even worse than HOX. Lucky its battery size is larger but insufficiently big enough to match its higher energy needs Is way much snappier and smoother than HOX which I deem laggy . Infact I rate HOX as one of those laggy android phone. I'd say the older Incredible S is better than it

I would say nowadays most if not all modern smartphone camera are quite good. I don't think one will be dissapointed to share it with your friends. Camera comparison I have seen to date varies between different websites. Only professional photographers or photo enthusiasts could possibly be more critical about quality of the shorts Camera quality to me is unimportant n is in quite near bottom of my requirements Sometimes I see how some guys debate about the differences I don't see the purpose other than self gratification only It made a good boasting point only "my phone had the best camera amongst all others"

QUOTE(alfredtwl @ Mar 19 2013, 08:12 AM) HTC One launchU.S , U.K , Taiwan , Germany. Can order from Clove UK For those who just cannot wait, Ordering from Clove UK is reliable and hassle free In worst scenario, your phone gets hold up at custom and you just need to pay RM 100 ( up to 3 phones ) for Sirim permit. There is no other tax/duties on mobile phones import into M'sia

QUOTE(Agito666 @ Mar 19 2013, 11:55 AM) i still watching Z, but not read much, skip a lot. last sunday brought my bro go test Z, but i duno andriod works, i just feel UI is very boring for sony hahha >< perfer HTC sense 5 UI yet, from video. duno i afraid ZOE will consume a lot spacae, but then it can disable haha i want blink feed only now wait for ONE demo unit HTC Sense 5 is great especially blink feed. I had never like HTC Sense up to v4+. I always replace it with Nova launcher. Even on the Butterfly when I am using it ; but my missus loves HTC Sense. However Sense 5 changes that. Not only is it less bloaty, the whole UI interface is much smoother and I really love blink feeds. At one page , I have all the latest Facebook, Tweeter, RSS , Newsfeeds that I subscribed to. And update only when you need to or choose always have it updated when on WiFi

QUOTE(gm0023 @ Mar 19 2013, 03:23 PM) actually the design is good, but i wonder if i accidentally drop it or put it in my pocket with keys, will the surface be spoiled or scratched ? If i apply a back cover, the sleek design will be ruined. how should i preserve the design while showing its sleekness? Put inside a pouch is your best solution Even my phones with covered casing I also put inside pouch My phones even with case on always rest on top of pouch even on tabletop Main reason why my phones when sold even after a year using casing n phone display/ body is pristine like day one

QUOTE(douglas_tong @ Mar 19 2013, 03:40 PM) we protect our phones so nice let others enjoy the benefit. basically we are safe guarding the phones for next user. it doesn't add up. Is self satisfaction lah ! Even when you are using it you feel great Just like maintaining pristine condition of car My wife 20 year old car ( sold off 3 years ago) even put many few years old cars to shame. Even at 20 years it still looks new except the rubber strips. Is a matter of whether one bother to do it

QUOTE(marquis @ Mar 19 2013, 03:56 PM) You and I both man. I'm drifting back and forth between this and the Z. Cases are fine if it accentuates the design of the phone. However, whatever that's been posted here so far leaves...much to be desired. With regards to the drop test, if you searched on video, don't bother with the idiot that claims to do a drop test on the One but is actually using the Nexus. Got my bloody hopes up it did I saw that video. Title HTC One drop test but using a nexus. That guy is really dumb

QUOTE(Agito666 @ Mar 19 2013, 09:14 PM) Do HTC got similar apps like Stamina mode like Sony? There is a mediocre settings called Power Saver ( Conserve CPU power, Reduce brightness, Turn off vibration, Data off when screen sleep) : not much use as I see it. As good as non existent. Sony Stamina mode thrumps it flat and it works extremely well - battery level will stay static when phone is idle/display off

QUOTE(Agito666 @ Mar 19 2013, 09:44 PM) so if i manually turn off can i achieve same result, let say i use sony one. i not sure how to manual conserve cpu power annd data off when screen sleep, but others you mention can turn off all the time right? feel this question is most idiotic ever i ask. nevermind then, just get a powerbank. so you went to SG already and test the unit? I already say the HTC option is as good as non existent. You just select those options only. It cannot match xperia stamina mode I am not that crazy yet to drive 1.5 hours just to see demo. Go n buy it I will go down. Maybe next week when I visit my son there
