Looking at HTC is high possibility n be prepared to see it in say 6 months time

From android central : HTC has just released a statement regarding availability for the HTC One, which has seen delays because of supply shortages. As you'd expect, the company is spinning things in a positive light, and promises that we'll see some general availability in Europe Next week, and North American and Asia by the end of April.

Here's the full statement:

“HTC has seen unprecedented demand for and interest in the new HTC One, and the care taken to design and build it is evidenced in early reviews. The new HTC One will roll out in the UK, Germany and Taiwan next week and across Europe, North America and most of Asia-Pacific before the end of April. We appreciate our customers’ patience, and believe that once they have the phone in their hands they will agree that it has been worth the wait.”

So the UK, Germany and Taiwan next week, North America and Asia-Pacific by the end April

This is not a problem at all. You see this in the Butterfly too. Just get rid of it by selecting pressing recent apps button as menu and hardpress as list of recent apps in settings
You will than have full screen mode and it works for all apps

Just because you cannot afford the data charges or you don't use it does not mean is useless .

Not every user has luxury to have wifi access. Me for example my internet 80% of time on 3g as the places I go to usually do not have wifi. Only folks in big cities has such luxury of having more choices of free wifi hotspots . Video calls through eg Skype can never match native video calls in quality, stability n reliability. Of course you need to pay for this. I don't mind paying if I need to use it

See facebook below : 3 button menu gone. To access it, just tap lightly on the recent apps

Of course you can customize your feeds. My blinkfeed on my buttefly is 90% foreign stuffs ( foreign news, gadget and tech news)

Of course you need internet to update those feeds. You can set it to update only on WiFi if necessary. You want to use such services on 3G , you just need to subscribed to any of those widely available data packages on 3G - and these updates doesn't take up much data. Update of feeds can be done manually if you are concerned about 3G data usage.It might not be great for you but is great for others

You can only customize to what HTC has set. Their list might grow with future firmware updates. I was only answering your question saying is it restricted only on local feeds
I use the blinkfeeds mainly for Facebook, Tweeter and a few selected Gadget news eg The Verge, AP, Huffington Post, TechCrunch, CNet. For better newsfeed options, I suggest you use the app FEEDLY where you can define exactly what feed you want to subscribed to

Is still new feature. I think the option to add in your feeds should be available in future updates
I use Feedly for heavy reading of feeds as I can set in any newsfeed that I wish

ZOE to date not working in all the custom roms.But I read it will be in the subsequent upcoming version of Virtuos Delicious ( hopefully by this week or next)

Warranty back to them. Don't think HTC has international warranty. It is listed in their terms n conditions

Pricing n fast software updates NEXUS 4: weakness poor audio n camera. No usb otg support n only 16gb
MORE pricy but it's features Way better - HTC one pawns it

No custom duty n taxes at all
Most need pay rm100 for sirim permit n this amount can bring in up to 3 phones
Of course add in your time n cost to go to Sirim or pay up to rm200 for courier special services to do it for you

If at present you are a newsfeed/RSS/tweeter "addict" like me - you will find it great. If you don't subscribe to such stuffs , than it is useless to you

If I want it , I will get it from spore too if available
Firstly is near my place 1.5 hours vs 4 hours to KL
Secondly superb warranty service by HTC Harbor Court. They even handle Msian purchase sets free of charge n I have motherboard replace FOC my previous Dopod 900 bought in lowyat

Even Samsung service in spore handle Msian purchased sets free. First time I sent in Galaxy S set bought from lowyat she ask me what is this sirim sticker inside phone
Phone hardbrick n phone Rom reflash free n was told nicely avoid flashing Rom myself .

It is Samsung not Samseng
Even if you don't like the brand not necessary to violate its name
Name calling is uncalled for
